Hall of Fames are meaningless, and awards shouldn’t be taken too seriously. You know what you contribute, and that doesn’t change no matter how much validation others give you.
You're just jelly that you couldn't win best newcomer.
I've been in this community for, what, 16 years? I'll get that award eventually. Until then,

Re-edited: Most of the results are plausible, and the ones that aren't are understandably either IRL or 2016-18 focused.
Results like these are why Hall of Fames usually have closed voting pools. The system becomes dumb when contributors like Serge (RA2CF, probably other coding achievements), MikeNCR (innovated late 2000s-early 2010s DSL play), and Psyclone (good stock builder when that was all we had) can't make it in but people with far-less of a legacy can get 4+ votes for being new. But it's my voting system so I can't blame anyone but myself.
Overall, gj Hop, you ran everything went smoothly and you were able to finish this last-minute when nobody stepped up.

I don't think I've payed enough attention throughout the year to vote in this to be honest.
Does that mean I can count on your vote?

It's a new year, which means we have the opportunity to make it our personal best year yet. Despite the world devolving into utter chaos the last couple of years, last year was actually pretty great, on a personal level. With any luck, this year will be even better.

I would just like to thank the Academy for this award. It means so much just to have the opportunity to be up here. I'd also like to thank the fine folks at Disney, my partner for always believing in me, my parents for always pushing me to go that extra mile, our Lord and Savior Jeepers S. Chrice, the always smooth taste of Colt .45 Menthol, and most of all, all the men and women who made up the crew. You guys are the real stars! Thank you and goodnight!!!

It's like, these are all English words, and on an individual level, I understand them all. However, strung together, I have no idea what the hell any of you kids are saying. Get off my damn lawn!

Since it's only me at university and of course being an anti-social person, I'm not doing much this Halloween apart from staying in my flat cooking dinner, relaxing this evening and wondering about if I was back home doing pumpkin carving. But I'll leave you guys with a classic Nick Cage clip that happens to fit into the theme of Halloween.
University is the time to socialize! Put yourself in uncomfortable positions. Try new things. Make bad decisions; learn from them. You’ll have plenty of time to be old when you are old.

I finished my BA in English a few years ago, but I've started seriously thinking about doing grad school lately. If I get an MFA (Master of Fine Arts), then I can be grossly overqualified for everything, then go back to my job at the hospital.
