Mainly because it was bad. The chassis is too large, the weapon is inefficient, it is off-centred, and the battery supply is too low. Remember: 90% of the time, we're not actually busting your balls. Friendly advice does not work well over the internet. It usually just ends up sounding like flaming, as my first post probably did.
All I was saying was to study some of the more effective AW's to see:
a) How you can fit everything into such a small package.
b) What weapons are more/most effective.
c) How to set up weapons and such.

In my opinion, "creativity" on the part of sub-par builders is total BS. On more than one occasion I have seen new builders rejecting advice from vets because they "wanted to be creative." Basically, what it means is that you don't need this advice because you are obviuosly already sooooo gooooood. What a lot fail to understand is that we're not trying to stifle creativity. Far from it, actually, we want creativity above all else, but what seperates creativity from what these people do is basically effectiveness. 99% of the time, these "creative" bots are crap. They flat out suck. What we're trying to do is help their skills along so that they can eventually be able to come up with new designs, to be creative. Look at Clickbeetle. Probably the most skilled builder around, many would say that he is the most creative builder on these forums. Why? Because he can blend effectiveness and style seemlessly (see: Ultimate Sacrifice, Frag Beetle 2, Heroic Sacrifice). So remember: It's not that we don't want you to be creative, we just want to give you the basic skills you need in order to be.
--End rant-- Well... I will take back some of my aggression I have demonstrated here to fore.. considering, you are completely right about the "friendly advice" seeming much like "flaming" I've had many online discussions go sour because of the lack of tone you can project onto the net. I will also admit that yes my AW did suck but I did not say It was creative by no means. It was weak. I just dont like the fact that most AWs with a decent weapon system has A wheel or something.. lol Anyways I appreciate your rant for what its worth and I will always accept constructive criticism and "friendly advice" on my showcases and again I apologize for jumping the gun on the whole thinking I was being... dumped on. has anyone even noticed?! my avatar is THE Avatar! yarrr matie.

Happy n00b question day. This is like the balance of the world. It is nearly the same as asking why the rabbit doesn't eat the fox. Just accept it and live with it. Bots are better in stock because of glitches, and DSL was made to be more realistic. If you havn't noticed, most of the parts (NPC-T64, Perm, E-teks, etc.) are real parts. That is why there is a realistic rule. lol it was a rhetorical question... I know about the glitches and I know its been tuned into a fine art with some/most of you guys I'm just saying you guys act like it is AGAINST the rules to try to build an effective/realistic bot in stock... thats all.

I have dsl.. but whats wrong with making REALISTIC bots in stock aswell???? and whats wrong with glitching in dsl?? I dont get you guys about that... its ok with stock but not ok with dsl. It shouldn't be OK at all.

Chassis is too large. Disect one of the AW drillbots in SCv3 to learn how to do them correctly. do you have to be so blunt? nowhere in the process of creativity do I remember seeing copying something else. btw I like making really realistic bots... not stacking sh** on sh** and through other sh**. I will check out one of the bots from SCv3.

No, its a re-skined overkill wedge thats 200k right there.. i was wrong about the weight it is 799.6 oh, the piston holding it on is a servo.. I needed to use it to put all the spikes on behind the wedge.

Not to be much of a pain, but i was wondering if there was anyway of having 2 copies of RA2 on your computer.
There are a few AI packs that i want to have a play with, but dont want to have to keep on backing up my game.
I've heard that some people have RA2 on their computers 2 times, DSL and stock.
Is there any way of getting 2 copies on your computer?

Whamett you can have it on there as many times as you feel like copying it.. What I do: Rar. the stock folder up (the game in its original state) then extract it x amount of times for however many AI packs/Mods you want to add.

Both are works in progress. What do you guys think? I would just re-skin the armor extenders just to make it look less bland... otherwise your design is pretty kool.. google the ghost and gank the skins off it. thats my input.
