Perhaps you could consider looking into it. Another good thing is you can also sculpt irregular shaped things outside of SL without costy programs, which means in this case, Blender, or even Wings3D will work. Just some five-minute examples. Judge has a working arm, The flipper is really just an animated arm with a prim under the body that expands upward when something is ontop of it, throwing it into the air. The only special thing about the arena is the Pit script, which causes smoke to rise out when a bot falls in like the real Robot Wars arena.

NXT: Good times. I ran out of inspiration as I got into RA2. Legos don't make good fighting robots, which was what I was in to.

Has anyone here ever tried modelling in Second Life? I like the simplicity of the tools and the prims, and have made a few really simple bots like Wheely Big Cheese and Judge in it. The other fun part is that you can script Remote controls into them and even, perhaps, make an arena. No programming experience required, and no havoks :P!

Okay, I re-sent my bot. The problem's probably just newbie error.

I don't mean to be naggy and rude and all, but, since the deadline's coming up... Did my PM ever make it to your inbox? I sent my un-AIed bot in it. If you'd like I can easily just post it here xD.

Awesome idea :D. Does anyone else think Adam and Jamie call too many myths "plausible" when they should be confirmed? It only really makes sense why they would with a few myths, like legends and stuff...

:D Those are niiiice. Especially with the limits of Powerpoint. Hehe, sorry.

No offense, but Da Mauler is almost exactly like your first bot, except with four Frenzy hammers. People would appreciate it more if you got rid of the looooong empty space between the drive motors and the perm.

I don't see any problems, except that the hammers still hit the perm motor. I don't know if that's considered realistic or not so I'm going to leave you alone xD.

Hey! It didn't crash my game :D. Looks like you're still in the tourny.
EDIT: Wait a minute, it's unrealistic. Fix the motor so the hammers don't glide through the wheels.

:D I finally PMed my bot Wham. Hope it works...
Geo, I noticed the frenzy hammers on da Mauler. Are they the normal ones or did you accidentally use cheat hammers? I don't know if this will mess up the game, but it's a possibility.

I really don't have much weight left, so I think I'll just reverse the blue snapper that is holding the two side plows (The axle of the snapper is facing up.) Most bots are thin enough to fit through.

Okay, I fixed the wedges on the bot. Thanks for the advice. I just finished another version, too :). This one has better 4WD and wider side armor. Same two black batteries. It's honestly still not enough, but I can't figure out how to stack the third yet. name: Metal detector 3 Bot type: Pop-up weight: 797.5 kg

The spinners are even; There is one iron on the back for rear poking :).
I think it looks nice and compact. You used regular snappers, right? What were the servo motors for?

Wavy? Like as in, when scrolling down, the page goes down in chunks instead of a smooth slide? That happened to me a few weeks ago. I disabled hardware acceleration and it was fixed.
Right click the desktop, select properties, settings, advanced, then troubleshoot. move the slider all the way to the left.

Weight: 791.5 kg I fixed it according to Sage's advice (It worked!) Frontal armor is pretty useful because I'm not used to driving pop-ups rather than spinners. InfiniteInertia: :D Thanks. I figured I would just use Emergency flippers, since they fill the whole front. There are already 3 razors on each DDT. Bringing the first version down to an MW would be cool. I could just use one snapper and squish the chassis in, too.

Is there a better way of attaching frontal armor than just anchors with ramplates?

New bot for the weekend. First pop-up... Capable of eliminating other starcore pop-ups, but I don't know if it's a good bot or a disgrace to all other pop-ups (If it is, please lay it gently ;P) Terribly underweight, especially since black batt stacking didn't go as planned... three stacked pink batts in the front supply an almost-sufficient power supply. Highlights of the design include snapper loading, which I learned recently, stacked batteries, and a better-fitting chassis. name: Metal detector BotType: Pop-up Weight: 593.7 kg

?
I wasn't referring to an exact amount as much as I was trying to explain the idea behind Reier's sentence... >.<
"Say, 10 razors"
Nevermind.

Yay! -proud nub-
Do "Got downforce?"'s back razors ever reach the enemy bot?
