Existing Games / Re: Battlefield Series

I own and have played every Battlefield game from BF1942 all the way up to BC2 and have enjoyed almost everything about them. I will be disappointed if BF3 uses punkbuster though. That program has caused me more grief than the hackers it's supposed to be protecting me against.

Guys, I thought I hadn't been being an ass, especially after my "smart" post in the suicide thread, but if you honestly all still hate me, I am sorry, and I  don't know how to prove it.

Good Bye

This again? I'm taking bets on when he'll be back.
I made a thread. I'm leaving because I honestly don't play RA2 anymore, and I don't have any interest in this forum any more.
Well that didn't take long, now did it?

Storm 2 hands down. Full body hammers are the way to go. Granted they got screwed in series 7 because a "box on wheels" is "boring."
But for me it has to be gravity.
Best flipper in all of RW IMO.

Yeah, I remember seeing gravity on TV. It was an amazing bot.

Well, I can start up the game and it works fine windowed, but if I try to change the volume settings it crashes, not a big deal.

I always felt that Terrorhurtz got unlucky in series 7 (I think). They could have gone really far with that amazing axe.

Well, I redownloaded the one from your thread, extracted it and it works fine. I dunno why, but I'm not complaining.

General Support / Returned to RA2, DSL crashing on startup
« on: February 19, 2011, 09:26:19 PM »
Hey, everyone. After a long time away form here I ran across one of many backups that I have of RA2 and immediately wanted to play it. Since I typically play DSL exclusively, my DSL backup was the first one that I tried. As soon as it started up, it crashed. I figured that something in it had gotten corrupted over time or something along those lines, so I downloaded the one from Sage's sig and that one crashes too. I'm not entirely sure what is going on.

So I was gone from here for a few months and apparently there is a 1.4 patch for RA2. Just what have I missed?

I'm returning from the dead, if anyone around here remembers me.

I've seen a few stories like that, but it's still awesome.

If the game doesn't live up to the marketing, it's going to die a firey death.

That was the first result when I googled the error code.

Ever since I started using Chrome I've liked it more than firefox. Firefox used to use upwards of a GB of my memory after a while of browsing, whereas chrome uses almost none of my memory. Although at the end of the day it's still personal choice, just like everything.

I'll see what I can dig up when I get home. I'm on my phone right now and don't know how to copy links. Although I might be too busy tonight between school and meeting with my local Air Force recruiter.

I took three years of spanish and pass ed all of them with a "B" or higher and I barely know more spanish than the average person.

Sitting in class right now makes me regret every year of it because there's a bunch of people next to me from spanishIII last year speaking to each other in spanish.

If you hqave a silencer for the M93, throw it on. It's still a one burst kill at all ranges and it won't decrease your effectiveness in any way.
