So what do the picks do? Keep bots from flying past it?
yes. it also screws with double HS. how effective is strafing for the rammer?
1 redbird isnt really enough to get blitzkrieg-level strafing on a hw, but its good enough to not get flanked as easily.

on spinners like the one you posted, if you rotate the razors so that one of the 3 sides is facing outwards from the motor. this will make it so that whenever a robot is on your wedge, you can rack up points much easier.
the popup needs to be wider btw. maybe if you downgraded the wheels to large ant wheels, and downgraded the wedge to poly, you could get 80cm angled skirts.

gotta live life on the edge. gotta build another stock LW flipper. 1 black, HPZ drive, plastic. much more fragile than flapjax, but also much more consistent at flipping OOTA quickly. its also entirely DSL-S realistic. this only took like 10 or 15 minutes to build, so don't say that i'm not following my to-do list. AI'ing and ATW2 are in progress. it got outwedged by a damn PLOW? ra2 logic. it does well against (most) double HS and single HS though.

Well, it's for sure original.
you bet your anus it is Nothing on the list about RW9? I am disappoint :P
sorry, ai pack i've been working on for almost a year now + tourney i'm supposed to be running is a higher priority than rw9 right now. i might make an entry next week or something anyway if i get really bored and have a good idea for it, so that'll probably be a thing.

iwhats that... thing supposed to be above the word malice though? a letter from some sort of foreign alphabet?
That is called 'can't think of a skin, make random shape on photoshop and throw onto chassis'.
its so avant garde. maybe if you made a black H shape and put "malice" in the center line, it would look like something.

it needs axle supports and motor protection. it would look so much more realistic if it had those.
skin looks cool-ish though. whats that... thing supposed to be above the word malice though? a letter from some sort of foreign alphabet?

OK, i'm seriously within the final stretch of building bots for ASAI. like 1 or 2 robots to build, a few to ai, and after getting team pics/mottos, ASAI 1.0 will be released to the public. look at dis to do list: booked like hell for the next week at least... They all look pretty schweet. I assume Dysentery is supposed to be an anti-hs?
it tries to be. banged out another bot btw, made with some "work quality": (^this pic shows the bot upside down, it flipped over when the match started because P1 starts 50 feet in the air or something. grr. at least i know its invertible!) Penta II. DSA, 4wd HPZ. 42 irons and two swords to make it extra wide. if you're observant, you would have noticed the redbird "strafe" wheel. that of which gives this rammer better turning than most other rammers, plus its kinna original and kinna cool/rad/groovy/whatever et al. i had to have 5 wheels anyway for namesake...

what you need to do is put a "trespassers will be shot" sign on your lawn, then you are legally allowed to kill anyone that steps foot on your property. IDK if you can do that in ireland, but thats how it works in many parts of the usa...

replace "vlad wheels" with "technos" and badniks got it right. you dont need the heavy plow in the back, replace the ramplates (they suck in dsl, btw) with heavy plows, and you only need 3-5 ants.

darkrat said that it was supposed to be 1 million kg, but thats obviously not true given you can flip it with most MW's. i would take an educated GUESS that it is somewhere around 600kg, but i could be totally wrong.

make the game fullscreen if you haven't already. the same thing happens on my computer if i even so much as dare wiring a bot or selecting an ai bot for too long. you need to do it quickly otherwise it will crash.

i was honestly thinking about making a RA2 page on TCRF some time ago, but i couldn't really find enough content to make a interesting page.
in the bridge of doom's map files theres a texture similar to the floor spikes in the combat zone, implying that there would be floor spikes in the BOD. plus theres the snapperII/140cm extenders, but that about it. maybe someone that can read the source code (aka almost nobody) could find a few lines of unused code.

there was a glitch with version 1.00 of RA2 where you could repair your robot as much as possible, exit to the main menu, and get 30 more minutes of repair time, . HOWEVER, that was patched in version 1.2 of the game, which DSL uses. so no, you will need to use an external program such as cheat engine, and know a bit of programming in order to do that. alternatively, you could use the DSL patch on a copy of RA2 that is still version 1.00. i don't have a link to download 1.00, but there may be a version 1.00 disc floating around on amazon.com or another online service like that.
