I'm thinking to keep this as the last GTMVision. Because here is few members that makes me sick of their childish attidute.
So you punish the wider community due to the actions of a few?

I'm quite ashamed to say it, but this has turned into a complete travesty. Now, I wouldn't mind if the members had been kept a secret to begin with, but the fact that they were revealed before voting had even started, Hard Bot effectively stealing the song that was in the lead, and the resulting backlash that followed, then this last minute dash to rig the votes so that Hard Bot won't win, this is exactly the sort of political voting that I thought this tournanment was designed to discourage. Now, I know that Hard Bot wouldn't have come forward had the members been kept in secret, and I know that he DEFINITELY wouldn't have come forward had his supposed song been winning at that moment. Ever since that post, the whole thing has gone completely down the toilet. It's been a horrendous tournament, and the next version of this had better be in secret again, otherwise I can promise you that I will NOT be entering. Not after this.
Frankly, the only reason I asked people to rig it was Hard Bot's complete and utter arrogance. Baseless arrogance always drives me demented, and I will go to great lengths to disappoint the person who's arrogant in the area they're being arrogant in.
Dishonesty and rigging is far worse than arrogance. Arrogance is annoying, I understand, but it gives no excuse to effectively invalidate the vote.

I'm lucky enough to have a wide vocal range - so I can sing 1st tenor classical music and low harmonies in rock/metal, and everything in between.

Order of increasing importance?
No - just recogniseable members of the community. Also, why am I in that list? I'm neither AU nor Mod nor Vet.
Your point being? You're one of the best builders on the forum these days, and you got there from Son of Firewhirl.... Yeah...there's also also the worry that whatever I build somehow turns out to be a clone of something, regardless of whether or not I know about it. From what I see, just about every combination of robot has been built already. What also doesn't help is the worst part of RA2 for me- sitting in a Bot Lab with a multitude of different parts, and wondering what to do. Generally, community members accept 'cloning' during learning stages.

And the thing with help really, is concern in the fact that I'll look stupid if I do so.
You look more stupid saying that - everyone starts somewhere. At one point Click had help, Mad had help, Joe had help, I had help, Nary had help, Sage, SD, Inf, NFX, SM and so on. We recognise that we all start somewhere and just want to help you get better. I helped NFX, Vert and Marty, who all build better than I do now, but don't consider them stupid. You'd be no different if I or anyone else were to properly help you. Can you see why what you say is silly?

In all fairness - MM, TTT and BBTB 2 are fair triumphs - I seem to remember him taking down some much more favoured competitors in BTTB 2. However, he wasn't a semifinalist or even quaterfinalist in the tournament.
Also US vs UK was replicas.

Anyone? Please? Why nobody never likes my tournaments... (GTMVision is popular, but still...) =/
Perhaps the very small amount of time you have since initally posting or people being afraid of the repercussions of being caught up with something against the rules.

Oh, christ, not this again...
Look, there's no hard and fast way of becoming an Advanced User. As VB said, you can earn it by being a high-level builder (Ounce, 123savethewhales, etc.), a good tournament host (G.K.), or putting a good AI pack together (Naryar). The main thing to do, however, is to be a productive and helpful member around the forums (NFX). So stop complaining about it and just enjoy yourselves, 'kay? =)

No, I mean you haven't won or finished high in a tournament. Or have you? I honestly cannot remember.
EDIT: *facepalm*, I forgot BBEANS6 for the both of you.

Those qualites are irrelevant for being considered for AU - it's contributions to the RA2 community which carry the most weight - and Jonzu has far outstripped GF93 in that respect.
Yeah, I wonder who else has had many tournament successes and has hosted several tournaments to a high standard? *Looks around*
Me, Badnik & Squirrel Monkey.
The rookies of 2009.
Where did you or Badnik have success in a tournament? The only 2009 members who fall under both that category and hosting successful tourneys, AFAIK, are SM, possibly Craaig and myself.
