Discussion / building a bot using a new technique« on: April 23, 2009, 07:54:21 PM »
The blue snapper is a hidden stock part. If you download the "unhider" then you can use them. They are used by the Stock AI, and are thus pure stock components. The snapper in particular is useful.

The are pure stock components, as they are used on the stock AI bots. If you look at other showcases, you can see they are used very often.

If you can, download the hidden Stock AI parts. They include the Snapper II, which is ideal for overlapping.

General Support / AIing Trouble« on: April 21, 2009, 07:16:45 PM »
Okay, for the sake on not creating a new thread, here is my dilema:
Flail Sheck Spinner have this annoying way of spiraling around the arena. If it is human controlled, you can control the spiraling to attack the opponent. The issue is that when AIed, it can't move porperly at all. Thus, even though I want to AI some of my Sheck Spinners for Naryar's DSL AI pack, I cannot. There may be something obvious that I am missing, but any help would be greatly appreciated. 1995

Condor.... I can't make the chassis much smaller because it has to be a cube. Also, bigger chassis equals more stability, and the few Kgs I could save wouldn't be much of a use.
EDIT: If I hadn't had this restraint, I would never build a shell spinner like this. |
