Anyone for a DSL MW Unrealistic Popup battle in BBeans Arena V2 with hasards on?
Unrealistic or DSL standard?
Unrealistic
If no one else wants to in about 16 hours, I probably will.

I have always aspired to make a guide... but I use an outdated ancient version of Photoshop.
Would be cool if someone made a guide that was applicable for GIMP or Paint.net.
How outdated? I used to use Photoshop 7. Then I got Elements 9, and then Elements 7.

There may be one, but skinning bots and most components isn't a difficult process. As long as they are .bmp files, they can be edited with MSPaint or whatever.
As far as the decals, I know that they have to be a .tga file of a certain size and may have to be a certain resolution. They can't be edited in MSPaint.

In case you guys haven't figured it out, Jonzu is only going to consider something that is popular in the mainstream. He won't even try something that is somewhat obscure.
It's that way with everything for him... Music, movies, games....
Bullsh**. I'm looking for Internet FPS game that is close to realistic war. Keep your unrealistic facts as your own information.
If you're a fan of realistic war, join the army.
I would rather not.
Puss.

I'm not glorifying war or anything, but at least there aren't any loading times, Tactical Nukes or Prestige Mode buffs ;D
Yeah, and no respawns.

Battlefield 1942 is pretty good, just saying.
I'm not a FPS guy, but I would recommend the latter, Quake III and Serious Sam (the whole series)
1943's pretty good too.
Also, Jonzu, try Daikatana. I heard it's the next Halo.
No, I dislike Cyber FPS games.

Releasing a game of the same genre =/= copying. Besides, these games have to be in development for about a year, and you need to know what you're doing before you start making it, so the idea that Dice could have copied Treyarch or IW or vie versa is completely stupid.
Not necessarily.
BC1 came out a while after COD4 The MW games were pretty much confirmed as well. And the other games/expansion packs came out a while after Treyarch's games were released.
And I agree with the first point, but you don't see me saying Left 4 Dead is a copy of Crysis because THE SETTINGS, STORYLINE AND GAMEPLAY ARE DIFFERENT. (don't give me crap that BF included vehicles, CoD also had vehicles in Single Player, and BF3 only added Jets)
Also, in BF3, the storyline was very similar to Black Ops.
How long is "a while"? If it's only a few months, then you're wrong. It takes more than a few months to code an 8-bit game, let alone one of today's standards.

Those were DSL's best days, just look at how original and ranged the bot designs were, while still being quite good.
Then 123 came along and ruined DSL.
