I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
Let's see, what rituals do I have...
1. Wake up to my alarm at 5:29 AM
2. Turn off alarm
3. Allocate and put on my robe
4. Acquire coffee
5. Drink coffee
6. Return to room
7. Hit the escape button on my keyboard to exit the fullscreen visualization of Winamp
8. Turn secondary monitor back toward my chair and turn on the primary monitor
9. Sit down
10. Open Firefox and put on the trance song entitled "This's How I Roll"
11. Browse GTM
12. At 6:00 AM, get dressed (the 1812 Overture is usually playing by now)
13. At 6:15 AM, put on my black overcoat and head to the bus stop
That pretty much describes my morning ritual, if you will.
