If you finish, it'll be cool, no doubt, but we've just seen soooooo many of these mods similar to yours start and fail, that we can't possibly trust that it's going to get finished. Don't get me wrong, we all want you to complete it.

However, it seems that your basic bot building skills need much work before you start building bots for the AI teams. Learn a few tricks of the trade first, and your AI will be much more effective and harder to defeat.

Really cool bot. I think it has the potential to go a decent way in the tourney. Designs like this one I hope I don't fight, because I doubt the AI is smart enough to back off of it's wedge and away from the hammer zone.

Very creative bot!

EDIT: tough time against SlashBack, you say? Thats good for me then ;D

I think the other forum is no longer acessible. Is there some other way we can find more entrants?

I love it how random people just take offence to everything Inf says. He's just blunt...

I'm just putting the finishing touches on my bot, like the skin, the name, and AI testing. It should be in on the 12th.

Exactly 0 of these are the ones I fought online. The bots you were used vs. me were much better :P I like the middle one on the left though.

I thought bots like Rabid Pit Bull and Neglected Waterbug were considered jugglers...

My favourite hybrid is a flipper/popup.

Well, yet another vet returns. It's very good to see you and Luigica back for BBEANS. I'm guessing the feild just got that much tougher!

I think Luigica should enter, after 3.14ston (I think that was what it was called...) got robbed in BBEANS 3.

I had some problems with DSL on multiplayer. It seems that any HS'ers will not load in multiplayer. There are no specific components on these bots that don't load, as other types of bots that use the same components will load. The ONLY thing the non-loading bots have in common is the fact that they are all HS'ers (trust me, I've checked multiple times).

Talon's chassis is way too big, and you could fit 4 axe heads on 2 DDT's to increase damage and save weight. Also, wedges don't work well for hammers, as opponents tend to slide up onto the extenders, too close for the weapons to hit. Also, don't be afraid to put your wheels outside your chassis. Having them inside is a colossal waste of space and weight. You could probably make that bot a middleweight just from making the chassis smaller.

Wow, guys, what's with the big rush to get entered? All you guys are going to do is keep sending in remakes, or other bots. There is a reason registration is open for 2 (potentially 3) weeks, and that is so you can perfect your designs, so use the time you have, don't swamp CB in bots you aren't going to use.

It's just that out of all of these proposed mods or AI packs or variations by people, only DSL, Pys' AI pack, Starcore 1-3, and RA2GE have gotten done, and RA2GE is the only total overhaul by a single person to get done. Good luck with your mod, and I hope it works, but the community doubts you'll get it done, that's all...

If you want to get under bots easier, put a small wedge on a burst motor as your wedge.
