David, I know you're still technically "new" to the forum, and that you may have been told this before... but the general rule in the showcases is to NOT post in it if the last post was made over a month ago. Please stop before you start attracting the wrong kind of attention from the moderators.
I do wonder what happened to NFX though, he just kind of disappeared without any notice or reason.

I believe CB made a HW with that same sort of weapon setup, so no, you're not going insane.
I wouldn't recommend having the FS flippers attached to the shell panels like that, when either of the panels come off that's half of your armor gone. Try to get the weight so that you can have 4 FS flippers.

i was bored and enigma told me to build a popup/fs/vs. DSA, 4wd hpz, reg zteks for the vs. thats 1 nifty and 1 black there. wedges are decent, but the razors on the snapper can fire in the case of a wedgelock to do heavy frontal damage.

yay! stock! bot looks well-built, if generic. are the RADs on a snapper or the baseplate?

it's underweight, it looks horrible, the weapon isnt good enough and jesus christ what is that skin
Very boring and generic.
PROTIP: if you want him to get any better, just saying "oh yeah that sucks" isn't going to help at all. massimov's second peice of advice and 090901's post are true though. the axle support is slightly off-center from the actual center of the disc, and a few angled flippermakers as motor protection would look cool.

IMO anything after sonic adventure 2 was when it all went wrong. sonic 06 was a disaster.

i noticed that you missed a few weapons in the stock section, so i wrote up a small blurb about the less commonly used weapons, it also adds the exact stats for the other weapons. uses alphabetical order for sake of convenience. Axe Head: 12 kg, 1000 HP, 0.9 concussion, 0.4 piercing. Does the most damage of any weapon in stock, but is also heavier than the rest of the commonly used weapons. Usually applied on rammers or pokers. Bear Claw: 8 kg, 1000 HP, 0.8 concussion, 0.3 piercing. Balanced between concussion and piercing. New Jersey approved ! These would be the best weapons of the game statwise... EXCEPT they have normals, they only do damage if the front of the weapon hits the enemy. Decent on spinners. Ice Pick: 8 kg, 1000 HP, 0.1 concussion, 0.8 piercing. Does less damage per KG than Bear Claws, but provide much more protection for extenders. They also primarily do piercing damage instead of concussion. Mostly used on hammers. Iron Spike: 10 kg, 1000 HP, 0.1 concussion, 0.8 piercing. Mostly piercing, slightly concussion. Twice as durable as razors, but slightly less damage. Good weapon overall, most popular on spinners and rammers, rarely used on popups. Mace Ball: 10 kg, 1000 HP, 0.5 concussion, 0.5 piercing. Equal balance between concussion and piercing. Maces are more defensive than Iron Spikes because they are larger and therefore get hit first, as opposed to the extenders holding them. Decent damage as well. Excellent on almost any bot type, except they cannot be attached without eFFeing in most cases. Pole Spike: 8kg, 1000 HP, 1 piercing. The only differences between these and Razor Tips are that they are smaller, have more HP than razors, and only do damage at the very tip. As such they work well on bot types like rammers and pokers, where the tips of the weapons hit the opponent. The longer Pole Spikes do NOT do more damage. Pointy Tip: 8 kg, 1000 HP, 1 piercing. Simply a thicker Pole Spike. Cannot be attached without eFFeing in most cases. Razor Tip: 7 kg, 500 HP, 1 Piercing. Has the highest damage per KG in the game. It's also the lightest and most fragile, so set them up in a position where they get minimum damage from the opponent's weapons, such as popups.
feel free to edit it as you please.

d00d i recognize some of those robots. static and pumpkinator were made by armadillo (aka J), and heavydudeaxewhatever was made by SoTG. korium9 was on the old atari forums, some of archived stuff that ive seen is pretty ****ing sick, his stuff has to be in that old archives thread somewhere. chaotik may have been on GTM but i dont recall lurking his showcase much if at all. the grumpy co looks like something SSG would build because face-spinners. Jonzu, if you search "Robot Arena 2" on DeviantART and keep scrolling down you can find some furry inflation stuff.
i'm curious as to what RA2 as furry inflato porn would be like.

> implying realism with hoverbots in RA2
but thats why the hovercrafts are hidden by the shell panel "balloon".

proof of concept flying robot (Image removed from quote.) (Image removed from quote.)
what in gods name is this
its a proof of concept flying robot. theres a hover-craft in the shell panels so it can "float", similar to S.P.S. #2 Mr. AS trying to be funny.
i see no joke here.

you still have 100KG to use (or 300 if you want to build to a *real* weightclass). try putting some weapons like tornado teeth on the flipper so the judge burst doesnt start rupting.
