Whenever anyone says RBR, I always think Red Bull Racing. And another second place. I'm doing very well. Hopefully it'll last.

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
Spoken like a manly man ! I salute you.
I intend to live forever. So far, so good.

Ah, I see. I just think they look a bit flimsy, personally.

Just spotted my second favourite special offer of all time. Reduced from £1.99 to £1.98. Beaten into second place by £4.99 or 2 for £10.
Haha, where did you see that?
1p saving was in Gamestation. Negative 2p saving was in Asda.

I thought it might be a track thing. Let's see how things go.

Had an idea after seeing R0B0's latest creation. Got a bit lazy with the skin, though. I'll give it a better one later. 398.3, Judge Burst, yadda yadda. If only Small Wedges were narrower.

Robot Wars didn't take itself too seriously, and always made it clear that the point was to have fun.
Aye, that's another thing I liked RW for- you'd never have seen something like Diotoir make it onto TV in Battlebots, for instance.
At least up until the seventh series, when it did veer much more towards the destructive competition aspect of things, I reckon. It was already headed in that direction, just from the technology improvements and so forth, but the first couple of series, where you had the Gauntlet, Trials, that sort of thing, it was a lot more about having fun rather than winning. Bots like Diotoir, Cerberus, Milly-Ann Bug, Recyclopse, even Razer to an extent. And at the very least, you were likely to have a complete robot at the end of it, instead of being disassembled by Ziggo or whatever happened in Battlebots to the less robust competitors.

Hammer: Looks funny. But should be a hoot to watch in battle. Flipper: Looks quite nice, reminds me of an ARC bot, Truth Or Consequences. Flamethrowers might be a bit redundant if the opponent's being thrown up in the air. Drum: Looks properly awesome. Should be great to fight, side panels look a little bit iffy, though. VS: Beautiful. I can't think of anything that would make it much better. Hopefully it kicks itself back over when it's flipped.

Nothing too wild and crazy?
This may be my new favourite IRL bot, though. The central thing looks fantastic, and that's a brilliant use of the Bio arm and Storm front end. Only minor niggle I have with it is the NPC axles sticking out of the chassis.

Following death, I believe I'll be put to good use and grow a tree of some description.
And I prefer not to think about whether I exist, or whether my conscience exists and whatnot. Takes up too much of my time for enjoying myself. =P

249.0 not 248.9.
Well technically it's 249.99999999 ad infinitum, since you can build a bot that is still a LW at a display weight of 250 kg.
Nah, that doesn't work. It is something to do with rounding the weight to one decimal point. You can get a LW up to 249.0499999, I think, but as soon as it surpasses 249.05, then it's classed as Middleweight. I'm not 100% certain about the more intricate mechanics of the game.

You've easily got the weight for two more irons on the spinner. More weaponry = More damage caused.
Wheels on axle mounts are pretty much a waste of weight. Get rid of them, and use the weight to get some more powerful drive motors. That should be a good place to start.

Ah, I see. Chassis needs to be lowered, then. If you look at the slider you select the height with, and set it to five "clicks" high, that'll allow you to fit an HP Z-Tek into the chassis. Any lower, and it won't fit.

It's a Stock Showcase, guys. It's just the DSL Bot Lab for whatever reason. And it would still be invertible with Shiny Hubs, which are considerably lighter than the Slim Wheels. That'll give you the weight to add either some more weapons/spinners, or some extra defenses, or wedges and so forth.

Okay, it's a good starting point. It would help if we had a shot of the insides, and knew what the armour was. It also helps if you crop the pictures so it's just the bot (everyone knows what the Bot Lab looks like), and saved it as preferably a .PNG file, as the bitmap format the gave saves screenshots as takes a lot of memory. Also, some criticism can be harsher than others, you need to be able to distinguish between harsh criticism and trolling/flaming. And trolling/flaming back is a VERY bad idea. Especially if you're new. People's first impressions of you stick with you for as long as you're here, and if you've given a bad first impression, people are less likely to take you seriously in the future.

Perhaps there's some absurdly complicated internals going on. Like the drive is mounted on a Servo or something. Perhaps the wedge or the plows are messing it up, or AGOD gets involved...I'm struggling to figure it out, personally.

Maybe you could put them in similar R3 or S1600 cars to the ones they normally drive. That should work.

Why are there so many Fiesta R2's in the class all of a sudden? I'd have thought people would choose different cars. Since there's only three R2 cars in the FWD class, what would happen if we just dropped them into a different class? Or got rid of them? There's plenty of other choice.
