Discussion / What do you like/dislike about DSL!« on: May 10, 2009, 09:30:29 PM »
For a thread like this, it is not bad to bump as it is just your opinion on what you like/dislike about DSL. If it were about a certain event that happened years ago that would be different.

On your arguments about the rice plant Clickbeetle, if you were to save these rice plants, you would instead be killing off another species, the disease. Now, assuming it is a bacteria, or if you consider viruses living, then you will probably be killing another living thing off becasue it must have mutated, perhaps to only affect rice plants. Now, without human intervention, the disease would be "the most fit" and survive, while the rice either built up an immunity or perished. Thus, with human intervention, you may be saving one species but kill off another.

I get dizzy if I play too long, but that is about it. It is kind of my way of knowing to take a break.

I'm sorry, but if it is possible to cure autism, I think it is worth it. You guys are all naming the "idiot savants", but there are people with autism that don't have those, that are not spectacular, that may benefit from a normal life.
Now, aborting healthy autistic embryos is the choice of the parent. I do not support a petition out-right banning the allowance of autism screening and autism-based abortion. As I said before, that is the parents choice. There do not seem to be benefits of aborting autistic embryos, but screening for autism is a good thing as it can help parrents begin to "treat" or help autistic children. Well, I hope I have not offended anyone. 1893

This is a general chatter thread Naryar, thus has no topic. So, is it really spamming? :)

It doesn't look like the regualar Axle loading glitch. It has similar effects perhaps, but this is using the weight of the sledgehammer to and the imbalance it causes to litterally make the axle force itself out of the motor. I have never seen the axle loading glitch done like this before, but I don't play stock much so Naryar, your probably right.
Just though I had actually found something useful, oh well. 1896

Actually, I think that Microsoft is actually giving out $250,000 to anyone who has individuals repsonsible for the worm, conficker. There are third party applications that can remove it, and it is not the end of the world, or your computer for that matter.

Hello Everybody, here is my newest and probably best BW, Hexy Dominator:
Hexy Dominator is a BW HS with four Iron Spikes and two Razor tips on a Piglet for weapons, and slimbodys with ant wheels for drive. He deals very good damage, and can take on all the DSL BW AI. He is invertible, but does not preform as well upsidedown. One of his primary weaknesses is being flanked, as his turning is not quite as fast as I would have prefered. Any comments would be appreciated. :D 1899

Yeah... I was thinking that, but I don't use the axle loading glitch much so I don't really know.
