Breakfast of champions.

Three egg omlette (Motzarella, Provalone, American) with bacon and buffalo chicken.

Had some extra bacon and Buff Chicken so I just put that on the side.  Yummy white Canadian toast topped with I Cant Believe It's not Butter.

Washed it down with a big ol' can of Moutain Dew Amp.

And, yeah, my omlette looks like it has a little skull in it... I am probably gonna die. (of a heart attack... but at least I didn't use real butter.)

I dont know how fair that is since the splash has been shown..... Craaigs was built before then. if everyone else is ok with it then Im ok with it

Nobody is objecting. So I think that means it is O.K.

What else do you need Joe?  Anything we can help you with?

Contests / Re: Vote BOTM May 2010
« on: May 01, 2010, 09:58:36 AM »
1: Ounce will vote for this one because it beat Absolute Chaos.  :gawe:
2: Overuse of skin and not enough attention to detail.
3: Pwnator? I love the splash really. You have to take the time to see all the hidden images.  The bot is cool.
4: A- for originality.  D- for effectiveness.  It certainly stands out with this group though.
5: Underweight. Joe is right that it is a missed opportunity for a Hammer on the end instead of the wedge.
6: I like it! I like it alot. I bet it drives like ass though. Originality wins me over and this gets my vote.
7: Obvious Sage Bot is Obvious. Isn't it strange that since we are all used to bumble bee the design looks generic because it is kinda the base standard now?

Somebody cast that kid to play Gambit in a new X-Men movie.

I was thinking... IDK if its possible or it has already been suggested.
But some kind of an elastic or something similar... That is normally stretched, And when fire it bursts super fast & Hits the oponent with whats attached to it (Only one thing) :P
It acts like a piston but it works Horizontally...
Like |_| <-- That... Only the little | is attached to the chassis & the |_| part is outside... With somethign strecthed & Attached to it
      .|

Or some kind of leather net to trap the oponents wheels ;O

Bendy/stretchy things are an absolute nightmare to code.  Sounds cool, but waaaay beyond the reasonable time investment that Click has put into this.

Yeah... this is the part where Serge shows up and says something like: "Stretchy things? No prob. I can make that happen in 5 mins tops."  :P

If you got weight to play with I would suggest putting the plow out further (longer extender maybe) and change the tribars out for discs with 8 Irons attached to each. If they are spaced at a correct distance behind the plow they will shred a bit more than tribars getting stuck on impact against opposing bots. I think it would help the grinding capabilities of the bot.

Looks really cool.  Glad to see you building every now and again.

Off-Topic: I kinda miss Jet Speed. He was going to be a real good builder but we lost him (along with some others) when the Atari forums collapsed.

Yeah. I miss Pivanov too. He made awesome bots with terrific skins. Lost for the same reason.

Heh. Thanks everyone for the bot love.  Glad you all like it.

@Sage: Yeah, making a drum was kinda a pain.  I found that it got pretty stable once I set up the teeth like that to keep the weapon balanced while spinning.

@Naryar: If I added a battery I would have to downgrade to the next level below Plastic 1, which is nothing at all. I would imagine a nekkid bot would suffer a 1 hit KO just by hitting the arena floor upon the beginning of the match.  I liked my chances better with 3 batteries thanks.

@Powerrave:  I like the way you think!  Lack of wedge is going to be vicious with your bot though. I could not stand to enter another BBEANS without a wedge.

It looks like some sort of spikey deep sea creature.  Probably not a chance in heck to put a wedge on that thing to thwart popups eh?  It certainly is unique. Is the powerful drive really that necessary?

When i have builders block i build a replica.  Or i try to make a powerful bot using a weapon that is not commonly used by other builders.

Wow crap! I could have sworn they were adversaries on the old original RA2 forum before we moved to GTM.

Thanks for the correction Sage.

I would like to see Steel Reign compete in this.  Feel free to add that to the mix.  I sent that bot to you once before. If you need it again, I can resend, or you can get it off the Bot Exchange.
