1st Bot: I like the disc, despite the fact it's pointing the wrong way. Wedges less so, they look to me as if they'll get in the way a bit, and a little bit flimsy. Perhaps try smaller wheels, such as Vlads or Tornados, and see if you can improve the front wedges with the weight saved from that.
2nd Bot: I think it looks cute. Like a baby version of those Tombstone-like HS you see. Beaters keep the front up, but they're a little bit ungainly, and I reckon the back wedge is a little too steep. If you had the skirt hinge in the middle, it'd be the same both ways up, and at a shallower angle.
3rd Bot: Interesting way of doing the weapon. Flipper Segments look a little bit suspect to me, though. Wheels do go well with it, though, good call on those. Aside from that, I just think it looks a little bit basic. A slightly flashier skin would give it a bit more of a pop, rather than a simple mix of greys.
4th Bot: Taz wedges go really well with the angled shell. Stuff on top seems to work well too. Although I can't help feeling that it looks like a turret hammer bot without the turret hammer. If you could find a way to squeeze a turret hammer on there, that would look fantastic.

So, anyone watching the F1 this season?
I am. Been pretty interesting so far. Lots of good midfield action going on, plenty of scraps and surprises. I'm Scottish, so I'm supporting Paul Di Resta by default.

They might break easily but they are a LOT more damaging. Hence why they're so popular with popups. The chances are you'll take off your opponent's weapons with razors a lot quicker than you will with beaters.

The larger CB is actually lighter than the smaller one, so that'll save you a kilo of weight, which could make quite a difference. Something else you could do is make the back of the chassis narrower to have the NPC's right up beside each other. The ants could be in groups of three above each other at the front of the bot, that'll let you have a smaller chassis, which will save you a bit more weight.

Very nicely built. How often does the hammer come into play?

Looks okay. Could do with being wider, I feel. Other than that, I can't really see too much wrong with it. Maybe see if it would drive properly with Techno Wheels.

Just found a site of stupid quiz zhow answers. My personal favourite:
Q) Name something people believe in but cannot see. A) Hitler.

That looks beastly. I don't like rammers with wedges, though, if you get inverted, they're a massive hindrance. Other than that, it does look like a really nice build, if not quite as wide as I would build it. Internals and Armour?

That is what I initially thought. However, I managed to hold up better agaisnt VB than I thought I would, and I eventually managed to beat him. With Craaig's exposed chassis, I should stand a better chance to get through. If Craaig defeats VB, then I'm through no matter what happens. =D

I'm not complaining about it, it's fine. I have less matches to fight, so it's only fair that I have less possible points to score. =)

As do I. I'm winning. I don't know whether to be annoyed that I'm in the group with three competitors. On the one hand, it should be easier for me to get into the knockout stages only having to fight two opponents. Alternatively, I am incapable of scoring six points.

That's what the statistics are all for. Besides, if you've got more than one car, you couldn't drive both of them at the same time. Unless you were an octopus.

I took a scout through the thread that was in Forum News when there was a bunch of promotions at the end of 2010, and I found this explanation: Possibly. The truth is, they're a little bit pointless. As long as you have fun here, that's all that really matters. =D
ding ding sing
and thats why you got one :P
Best thing to do, I reckon, would be to stop worrying about it. Enjoy your time here, try and help out as much as you can, and generally find some way that you can keep the forum ticking over. Those that ask don't get, was another line from that thread. It's like what happened with JoeBlo and Backlash, if you keep asking for it, the chances are you're going to annoy the people who make the decisions, and eventually your chances of actually getting it are going to go right down the toilet.

Not really. You just need to contribute effectively. Contributing effectively does not directly correlate to post count.

Spectacular. Now comes the challenge of guessing the setup. Is it a True Popup or a Regular popup?

That's true, but the Beta Burst is so damn powerful, that you could have a 120cm Angled Steel Skirt, and easily throw the opponent into the air with a pair of them. Provided you've got enough batteries. And the Poly Skirts you're using have a disastrous HP to Weight ratio, for some reason all the skirts of the same material have the same HP. So the 40cm skirts are twice as strong per unit weight as the 80cm skirts.
