If I had my druthers, that wheel would say "Battlebots" on every space.

I combined the features of a bunch of different versions - the S7 one had a srimech but it didn't work.

Revamped 13 Black.  I redid the skins and discs, couldn't be bothered to rebuild the body, but I still like it all things considered.  The roulette disc was drawn by hand; impossible in MS paint, difficult in Paint.net.

Is there a type of FBS binding that accommodates a srimech?  I'm currently having to swap between either-or.  I'd kill for a sample AI line to go with it.

Aso, how do I get rid of the shine on the Hypno's Disc component?  The disc has such a powerful shine that it all but blots out my texture.

Much obliged.  Finished product will be posted when it's done.

Why would you buy a used robot? It takes like 98% of the fun out of the sport.

Some people like restoration more than building from scratch.  I imagine it can't be fighting fit after such a long state of dormancy, compounded with the damage X-Terminator did.

FIRST is the biggest joke in competitive robotics. Any competition that expects spectators to dance the chicken dance and to Cotton Eye Joe can't be taken seriously.

It's also my fault that they don't allow any defensive play anymore...

AHA!  I knew I couldn't be the only one who thinks so.  Bunch of hippy-dippy "nobody loses" nonsense is what's going to implode the world when Generation Y is running the show.  What exactly is "defensive play"?

Disrupting the flow of the game, not playing in the "spirit" of the game, pinning other robots, pretending it's a battlebot, trying to damage other robots, ect...
It's also my fault that they don't allow any defensive play anymore...

Elaborate please...

See above.

I drove in the 2011 season. My teams robot didnt work right so i drove it like a pushybot and caused havoc and took 2nd place with it. Dean Kamen, the guy who founded FIRST told me he didn't like how I drove and the next year the rules completely outlawed everything I did.

What's your robot's name?  Any robot that forces a change in the rules deserves a laurel. Like Son of Whyachi and its shuffler, or Nightmare forcing them to put a roof on the Battlebox.  And I second the plea for videos of thsi event.

At the end of St. Elsewhere episodes, there's the MTM enterprises logo, a kitten in scrubs called Mimsie.

But in the last episode, here's what they showed instead:

FYI, a better name would be "Scary Closing Logos."  Or TV Idents in the UK.  And yes, there's a wiki for this.  And I'm not implying it's not stupid.

This isn't a cardboard robot gasp, but I liked it.  It's a model that came with minifigs, and I painted some of them to look like people.  There's Sir Topham Hatt, a Blueman, and the Chief from Carmen Sandiego.  Look at the pic w/ the penny for comparison, these were like drawing on a grain of rice.

I feel obligated to say something about Old sh** 2005 meme because, as the Talmud says, "Silence is akin to assent." The following text regards my complaints of recent days against Old sh** 2005 meme and its subtle but stubborn attempts to fight with spiritual weapons that are as salacious as they are self-deceiving. Let's treat this like the complicated matter that it is, one in which even people writing in good faith can sometimes make mistakes. As such, it is worth mentioning that I've known some pseudo-intellectuals who were impressively fatuous. However, Old sh** 2005 meme is malodorous and that trumps fatuous every time. Ultimately, this is all about choice. We can choose to let Old sh** 2005 meme unleash carnage and barbarity, or we can choose to remind it about the concept of truth in advertising. That's a stark choice. To my mind it isn't even a choice at all. The latter option is the only one that shows the world that my opinion of Old sh** 2005 meme hasn't changed ever since, ages ago, I heard it say something about how I'm some sort of cully who can be duped into believing that everyone with a different set of beliefs from its is going to get a one-way ticket to Hell. The point is that Old sh** 2005 meme talked nonsense then, and it talks nonsense now. The only thing that's changed is that it is mathematically provable that I lost all respect for it when I heard that it plans to oppress, segregate, and punish others. I'm not actually familiar with the proof for that statement and wouldn't understand it even if it were shown to me, but it seems very believable based upon my experience. What's also quite believable is that Old sh** 2005 meme claims that the government (and perhaps it itself) should have sweeping powers to arrest and hold people indefinitely on flimsy grounds. That claim is preposterous and, to use Old sh** 2005 meme's own language, overtly anal-retentive. No history can justify it. Finally, any one of the points I made in this letter could be turned into a complete research paper, but the conclusion of each would be the same: Old sh** 2005 meme always represents itself as the victim, as betrayed and sinned against, demeaned and tormented because of society's jealousy.
