Signups are now closed.
I shall skip the preliminary's and go straight to arena choice matches and the league.

Doesn't that just default to something if it's not included?

Code: [Select]
    list.append(("Psynergetic Vortex 2.5
","Omni",{'topspeed':99,'throttle':130,'turn':35,'turnspeed':3,'range':99,'weapons':(1,2,3,4,5)}))
At first glance the problem looks like there isn't enough spaces before the list.append part. It should be 4. Like above.
Also I have a feeling the weapon ids aren't right but they aren't really needed too much.

Wait, DSC entered Excadrill? This I have to see.
And I'm looking forward to this one. Seems like it'll be fun, having Clamperl vs Aerodactyl. :P

DP:

Your foe's weak, get 'em, Clamperl!
Relatively happy with how it came out. The disc in the middle is supposed to be blue I swear.
And I have no idea what happened with the sledgehammers. Trying to fix them now.

As long as that doesn't spin, it should be awesome! o:

Nope, no spinning. I would wire the top shell to a bsg but it would just slam shut the first time and not open again.
...which actually might work well.

Clamperl, before painting.
Yes, it is a clamperl. Use your imagination.
I think armouring it in sledge hammers to give the shell a bit of shape is a fair trade off for hideous ground clearance and no way for it to self right.

Currently trying to figure out how to put wheels on a clamperl. And how to make the angled shell pieces look more like the shell.
With any luck I should have another inefficient bot in :D

Oh god please don't say I have to help skin that one too
Very nice, but I would use a Iron spike instead of a pole spike on the nose, personally.

Or if you're a rebel stretch it to 1024*1024.
The only problem with resizing it is that RA2 doesn't like working with it. So you can't use any of the in game decals/textures while that oversized skin is applied.

So would I, therefore I am imposing a deadline of 21st October.
If I don't have enough entrants to run preliminary stages sufficiently by then, then i'll jump straight to league matches.

I think it's the same thing with DSL bars aswell. Although to change the colours it's not that much of a pain, just have this and you'll be fine. :D

That's a bit hard with how those disks are made, iirc they don't have textures per se, more colours coded in to the gmf itself.
If it is possible to change that then I have no idea how.
I was going to try the dsl disc but they aren't big enough.

Anyone have any idea how to cut a chunk out of a 200cm disc? If so I could make Lotad.

When making SHW's, I just find it easier to beef up existing designs most of the time. Rather than finding a new design that works.
As for arenas? All I can suggest is thinking of your favourite arenas. That's what I did.

Is there going to be a 3rd place playoff for each division?

DP: Don't mean to sound impatient or whiny...
...But is the logo really that off-putting? You guys must watch Neighbours instead.
