You need a better wedge than that. Try a metal hinge or skirt hinge wedge. Or, maybe snapper wedge. You will also want frontal defense.

We don't always use hinges on our bots.....
Anyway though, you have got rto build to the weight limit, and do not use Steel 10. Make it a MW, at least it then might stand a chance.

This is a SHW tournament due note. And because of this, I bet hardly any robots will be able to fit in the pit, purposefuly or not. So... the pit would then become useless. And really, unless you have increased the mass of the drop zone hazard, it really does not do that much damage, and its only a one use thing. So.... why not make the pit larger, it you are going to have it at all?

Hello Everybody, here is my newest and best HW SnS, Devilish Charm:    Devilish Charm is a HW SnS with 10 Vlad Spikes and two E-tech Drive motors. It can dish out devastating blows, and has controlled movement. It is bots like this that make me think flail weapons may be the best choice for horizontal spinners. I definately like them. :) Any comments would be appreciated. :D

When my SnS was spinning the flipper simply made it spin like a helicopter and it landed rightside up. But when I was not spinning, the flipper made me do front flips so..... I don't know.
