In the your banned thread, orange pic disappeared though
Oh! Thanks for pointing that out. I will have to fix that. It was one of my more clever sober moments.

Just went out and saw this last night.
It was so terrible. Forced, over-blown, acting. Little to no depth. Waaaaaay too much crammed into 2 hours of film storytelling. It's pretty sad that I thought "Percy Jackson / Lightning thief" was actually a better, more likeable movie. (saw that a couple weeks ago). If you want big monsters that go "Rwar!" and lots of CGI, then Clash is your kinda movie.
I am hoping that Robin Hood will be awesome when I go see that probably next week.
Anyone else see Clash?

Autonomous is a very bad idea. For one, it can be hacked. Two, it can't make the same rational decisions a person can.
Correct. Example A for reference: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093870/

Since I became re-addicted to Battlefield 1942, I went out and got all the expansions and Battlefield Vietnam.
I haven't been in the botlab for over two weeks now. :P

i dont get it.
He's using an Apple mouse from the '90s (which wouldn't even be able to plug into modern Macs without a PS/2 to USB converter).
Silly Frezzie! Macs of that vintage never had PS/2. It was called Mac Serial port. It's even wired differently too. :D Edit: Holy carp! I just realized our avatars look oddly similar.

Mac mouse only has 1 button. I think Portal requires a two button mouse to play?

I caught a few episodes of this show on Spike a couple weeks ago when I was looking for re-runs of UFC. The show is pretty cool. I totally dig the Jelly imatation human torsos and heads that they use for testing. I would love to take a few jabs at one of those with some of my swords for giggles. My fav episode was William Wallace vs. Shaka Zulu. The only thing that I didn't really like about the show was all the fluffy "smack talk" throughout. You can tell that the sides are told to be supportive of their weapons no matter what. There were several times in the show where I was like: "Dude! Hes got a hand grenade compared to your pointy stick... Suck it up and admit that his weapon would pwn your ass!" If they ditched half of the smack talk and threw in some more jelly torso slaughter I would probably watch it more often. Good stuff though!

027 would have entered something if you gave him enough time...
Given the circumstance of how long the tournament had been stalled for... I think that 027 just volunteered a bit late. Most of us really wanted to see this thing get going. I am sure there will be other replica tournaments in the future. They certainly are turning out to be very popular. Besides, his brother hosts some great replica tournaments himself. :D *wink wink hint hint hint*
