You're using grannies anyway, so that shouldn't matter. Try mounting an extender on the middle of the snapper (with the 2 APs facing up), then another extender parallel and on top of it, then a T connector going down from that extender. That might be low enough for shinies.

aye aye. I'm working on a static drive setup tho since it's rly wonky

Alright that looks like a bad idea so you should either revert to a static drive or find another way to mount the drive onto the snapper (maybe try mounting it on the top arm instead?).

It is mounted on the top arm

Bottom arm is too high, so wheels wont touh the ground

got a bit of weight to play with. not enough to add more motors, too much to leave untouched either.

i considered adding castor armor since that's actually been monumentally helpful for i hate kids but idk

thoughts?

It's been a hot minute or two since I've had the chance to delve into my weird & impractical 'bot building mind. I'll post a couple of works-in-progress.

On the left: I had a strange impulse to create an axe-build with a 2-wheeled chassis, I guess akin to Toe Crusher, in a way?

Got it all built and realized I set the axe up backwards. Off to a great start. Gonna have to either rebuild the weapon or change the armor around. Not sure if either approach will work, but we'll see.

Also, on the right: A MW angled spinner that I'm currently tweaking. Have to stop it from tilting forward and clipping the ground when turning. The beater wedges helped a little, but there has to be more I can do. Bar isn't necessarily the final product either, just what I'm working with for now.

Any tips or recommendations would be most welcome :)

yo these are sweet lookin bots

can you snap the insides of the spinner so i can see what kind of camber set up/motors you got?

is it gonna be an enclosed arena (combat arena, containment cube) or open air (battlebox, RW arena, Parking Lot Arena)?

LW and MW are iffy. maybe try and hide the piglet on the LW?  Uses the word iffy.  Doesn't mention the CW.

MW is sorta bland imo, but would look better if the wheels were completely in the chassis instead of sticking out 100% agree with this

HW could benefit from smaller wedges flanking the main flipper (angle extenders or beater wedges?) I would see how.  However, weight is a bit of an issue with this one.

SHW multibot seems coolio. Torrent might not come back due to the hover engine not being attached to the base.  Might retry and see if that's the problem.

Edit:  Found the issue.  Apparently if there is a component directly beneath the hover engine, it'll float away,  I placed a regular sawblade in the clep blade's place and moved it outward.

have torrent fly away anyways so no one can beat you :3

did you apply armor on the HW? usually i just give extender bots like this plastic 1 since external armor is present, gives me weight to play with

The inner workings of this tournament flew over my head a long time ago, why did DG have to face two NWB's haha

prolly cause the kid thought itd be funny to enter Neglected Waterbug

should just go with ironspikes, much more common on face spinners. pole spikes arent used often thanks to normals.

does the disc touch the ground and hinder driving?

This thread is why we're all womanless.
I'd ask my wife, but I dont think she'd even be willing to vocalize how dumb this is.

Again, I was talking about forum membership statistics and not significant others. I think the M/F ratio on this website is around thirty males for every female.

did u just assume my gender
