I used to build robots with Knex like you, then I took an arrow in the knee.
Anyway, I had this set where you could control the robot through infra-red. The motor was so slow so I had to gear it to make it go decently fast. I might post some pictures of some of my other stuff soon, assuming anyone visits this thread anymore

So I'm helping to make the UI for someone's AI pack, and I need to edit .gib files to get the right placement/size of pictures, buttons and other items. I managed a bit of work through trial and error to re-size some stuff but I would like to learn:
1. How to add new items without crashing the game
2. How to just, well, understand .gib

Couldn't help but noticing that the current DSL window in the bot lab sort of stuck out

It's based off the lights from ED. I think it still needs a bit of work, e.g. the "Test Robot" button and I would like to replace the corner pieces which I have used for everything with the wooden ones you are using, Wham. It would probably match the theme of the botlab better.

Sorted out the main menu which Ducky designed.

I can't get the options menu to be in the position Ducky showed though. These buttons seem to be positioned relative to a mysterious rectangle at the bottom of the screen and if I place them outside the rectangle it disappears. If anyone knows how to change this could you tell me? Currently only works at full screen highest resolution. Other than that it's all good.

I am clueless on editting .gib files except changing file extensions from .bmp to .tga. So sorry, maybe some else knows. Also, do you mean send the whole UI or just the exhibition folder when it's done?
