I really hope this turn out to be good but with the way most TV is these days I worried they're going to make it mostly fluff and song and dance where they try and make it a bit comedic. However if its on ABC I think they'll do good as long as they keep sport first, everything else second. Looking forward to seeing what the new BattleBox will look like.

So I am proud to announce that I will host a RA2 tournament over the next couple months. Now before you people go "Oh you have not been on much and you can't AI" and all this ordeal. I have learned to AI recently but the only basic way and I'll be having a lot more free time around the March-April area hence the Spring 2015 time.

So you may ask: "Why are you planning it now?"

Well its because I want to know what you people want to see in a Stock tournament and I've been here near 4 years now and I've not hosted a tournament. What are the rules you want within limits as listed below.

No BFE, AAM, Hax mode etc.
Unrealistic
MW or lower.
12 entries max.

Tournament will have 3 four way melees with 1 winner each. Losers will face one-on-one will a three way melee, winner of that goes to the final melee. Who ever wins is the champion

I'll say that while it's highly unlikely I'll ever back to enjoying RA2 like I used to, I think hosting a tournament would be like a goodbye to the game that was relatively a big part of my childhood and teenage years.

Its the same as last year in which we say our favorite games you played in 2014.

There is one rule:

The games can be from any year as long as you Started playing it this year.

So here are the questions:

3. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (One of the most Underrated FF games there is.)

1. Child of Light (Ubisoft's best game of 2014 by far and it's so good I've got it on three consoles)


2. Spoilers for two FF Games in this

Final Fantasy X HD: The Sending and the Underwater Date scene. I cried at both. Also Lightning Returns ending: They landed on Earth! That does not make sense! How does God create a new world and why are there stuff like cars and houses before Lightnings people even arrived? 

3. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax/Persona Q: Both excellent game soundtracks

4. Attack of the Friday Monsters Opening Theme

5. Far Cry 3: I never expected the story to be so good. And awesome open world.

6. Smash Bros 3DS: Its gameplay is solid like usual but I can't help but feel like something big is missing from the game. Also some of the stages were too gimmicky. I wish there was a stage hazards off but not Final Destination mode.

7. Final Fantasy Type-0, Final Fantasy XV, Rime, Metal Gear Solid V, Xenoblade Chronicles 3DS, Persona 5 and Zelda Majora's Mask 3D.

no, it's not you only.

builder's block happens, sometimes you are interested again in ra2, sometimes not.

the boy needs insperation!!! take a vacation and go to the countryside of Spain or France and search inspiration in the peaceful nature.

That's bullsh**. I do have several ideas for builds in my head, but it doesn't mean I will open DSL right now and make them.

nonono when i have no insperation i always go out for an walk in the nature. trust me it works i have study psychology, here in sweden i am like a dr.phil to the people whit my questionable solutions and therapies

I've already took a bloody holiday back in October and it's freezing outside.

Also it seems Naryar's right. I've got bulider's block and I think its also time constraints. Back in Tech I had loads of time to play RA2 cause I had my work done quickly and teachers did not care what you did but now since I'm in training I don't have time to play it anymore. It's the changing of the tide people say to me. Lastly I think its lack of interest in Stock and the fact that there are no stock tournaments these days.

Not interested in girls yet and I am barred from drinking. I game everyday so maybe I've just had enough if RA2 completely.

ahhh you are from the uk my recommendation is to stay away from girls then.

btw are you a celtic or a ranger fan?

I know what you are trying to ask me and here's my answer: I don't like both.

Also I don't mind Finland. They're like Faroe Islands but bigger and more lakes. I've know one Finnish (No not Jonzu) and he was dead on.

Who has really gotten bored with RA2 and robot combat recently? I mean apart from the upcoming RW mod in which I'll probably won't be playing as heavily as the rest of yous, I've lost complete interest. It feels like I'm only on here out of routine than anything else and so I ask, am I the only who feels like this?
