You sure love movepixel. Very nice bot, but it needs a paint job.

Update for Niacinamide. It's exactly the same except for the improved srimech and longer and better-protected popup arm. (I tried it as a true popup, but it wasn't as good). 398.2

Tusslers 4. I had no ideas for names, so I ate a bowl of cereal, stared at the box, and picked the ingredients that had the most cereal-y names.
![]() ![]() Niacinamide: The goal here was to build the most original and cool-looking MW popup I could. Decent wedges for being on Snapper IIs, and the wamming razors are surprisingly helpful once it loses all of the popping razors. 5 razors on the arm and one black. Trisodium Phosphate: Nothing special at all, but I wanted to build it because I don't make horizontal spinners very often anymore. I tested it and discovered that it was only slightly invertible. I went back to the bot lab and noticed that the chassis was high enough for a vertical Snapper 2 because I reused the chassis from Calcium Carbonate, so I made it again with a shorter chassis. It wasn't any better upside-down than the tall one, so I kept the first one for more chassis HP. Decided to go with strong drive instead of a weapon breaker. One black. Calcium Carbonate: A couple of months ago, I lost all of my bots. I wanted Acid Rain 3 back, so I cloned it. As for the wedge, the emergency wedge seemed to do better than the small wedge when I tested it. And the emergency wedge is cool anyway. I got lucky with the weight, too. One black. Pyridoxine Hydrochloride: I felt like building a rupter because I haven't seen any in tournaments recently, and it's going to fight in the BBEANS arena. It has a problem with getting stuck on its back, though. I don't have much to say about it except that its name goes well to the tune of Deck the Halls. (Py-ri-dox-ine Hy-dro-chlor-ide, fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la...) Two blacks. All have DSA. 184

You can also use a rectangle chassis by putting the drive on the back of the snappers instead of using anchors (but you would have to snapper load). Then you can temporarily move the start position for the snappers so the weapons and stuff are out of the way and scoot the black forward.
I do like it, though. Gives me an idea for a heavyweight. 191

I don't like it when one of the attachment points on the Snapper II goes to waste, but it's still very impressive.
Also, Shedrift has 10 hands? Looks like I have some competition. 192
Discussion / Re: Difference between stock and DSL« on: June 04, 2014, 01:33:39 PM »It's all about what fits your building style IMO, people like me love stock because I want to build something that has no limits. Same. To me, stock is fun because you can send components into space and build weird stuff that you couldn't make in reality. But in both DSL standard and DSL IRL, there is a realistic rule. 194
