If you really want to excel yourself, make the head or tail moveable weapons. The tail could be a Beta flipper ( I would say that, wouldn't I) and the head an axe/hammer.
By the way, on first glance, I thought it was a duck...

Oh, after testing all these new ones, I used Havok 20 for the first time in ever and realised how bad I became.

Ha, while you guys were commenting on these, I built a few more! (So these will have nothing to do with the improvements stated!) Here's Toro, and it is too the weight limit...  Can't flip for toffee, but a bloody good wedge in my opinion! Here's the same bot stripped down and is about 730kgs  Wedge is pants, but OOTA bots from the middle of the DSL arena. But then I thought 'is there a way to get Stripped Toro's power but make it heavier so the guys on GTM won't yell at me. Oh, it needs to stay cool'. Then I came up with this.   And it is still underweight. I truly need practice! Then I got bored and made a MW version of FA3.   This one is actually good (OOTAs most all DSL MW, not sure about Nary's). I had fun, thats important...

Well, it appears that I have gotten back into RA2 after a six moth break. And during that six months, I have forgotten all but the basics! I do remember some stuff though, like metal hinge>other one and 1 ant = 1 spin motor. Thats about it. So, I am going to start my new showcase with the last two good bots I built; Havok 20 and Frontal Assault 3.   And the new one, and don't hold your breath for a new design/name, I wanted to start (again) with something familiar.  Ta daa! And for the sake of anything, I am starting back at Havok 1 for this. And it will probably be the last because frankly I have grown tired of T shaped Beta flippers, as I am sure you have too. Ok, I know it needs work in areas, (mainly weapons) and it does only have one beta. I can't for the life of me remember how I got 2 betas + ants + NPCs into a chassis of similar design. Yes, I know its too thin, this is a revised one. I am expecting either an uproar of 'Oh great, more beta flippers' or 'Hi KM, still working on that old design eh? Well, in the mean time we found out betas are rubbish'. I honestly have not lurked the DSL showcase section in ages so I have no idea what the build quality is like now. Glad to be back and making one lame return! ~Mush

I try to limit the amount of pony that I post outside of Ponychan (I am a member of 3 boards, all of which have just EXPLODED with ponies and thus killed the general forum.)
I do however post in the MLP megathread, but not like I do on ponychan. What you see on the MLP thread is basically 1/50th what ponychan gets a day.
I will just say one thing, if somebody posts something that is just begging a pony image or macro, I will post it, but spoiler it and warn of the contents.

My RA2 completely died today. Both DSL and stock.
I can run the game (after a 5min long look at the infrogrames logo) , but cant use/edit bots without it going pop.
So, as an utter noob now, because I haven't built anything decent since Havok 20 in late December, I have forgotten where to download RA2 and the DSL patch. I have extracted all the .bot files from my robot designs folder so they're safe, but the actual games themselves are... spleh.
(IIRC it is Sage's sig, so all I need is him to post here.)
