Chatterbox / Re: Could You Do it?
« on: June 11, 2011, 03:57:31 AM »
The only way I could see myself actually able to kill a person is in a defence situation, either mine or someone I care for.  No choice, either this person dies, or myself or a loved one dies.  Then, in a heartbeat I could.  The heartbeats that followed would be pretty difficult for me, however.  Even in that do or die situation, I'd be guiltstricken.

If it was just a hate matter, If I truly hated someone that much that everyone else would kill that person...well, I'd prefer to make them suffer.  And death is a cessation of suffering.  So murder-for-hate seems counterproductive to me.

Luckily, I can truly say I've never met anyone who I hate that much.

Chatterbox / Re: Relationships

I was pointing out the similarities between your story and the plot of The Room.

Wait, The Room had a PLOT?!?!  Guess I was laughing too hard to notice.

I kid, I kid, Tommy Wiseau is my idol.

Anyway, relationships are terrible and wonderful at the same time.  I think that's one of the reasons people find them so difficult.  They focus too much on the negatives in a 'good one' and too much on the positives in the 'bad ones'.  Plus, a lot of people have this idiotic dream of the perfect relationship, which just don't exist.

I've had the good and the bad...and the neutral.  And in the end, there's only one I would go back and not experience.  The rest, even the bad ones, I'm glad I was involved with.  They at least taught me somethings about myself.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Top Metal Albums of all time!

No particular order,

1. Annihilator- Alice In Hell
2. Metallica - Kill em all
3. Anthrax - Among the Living
4. GWAR - (pretty much any album)
5. Pantera- Vulgar Display of Power
6. Dark Tranquility - Damage Done
7.Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss
8. Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast
9. Exodus - Fabulous Disaster (sadly forgotten until I saw xanosz' list)
10. Debbie Gibson - Electric Youth (Yeah, joking,)

Beyond the first nine, I can't really add any full albums to my favorites.  I pick and choose songs after those.

yes, yes i have lol

Duly noted.  I had thought of randomizing it, but something in my mind was telling me it would cause an uproar.  Don't ask me why I thought that, because I honestly have no idea.  Looking back it doesn't make sense anymore.

That being said, both craaig vs mike and kill vs dragonfire are up on first page.  craaig vs mike made for a long, yet what I consider to be entertaining match.

Actually, i think the lesson is don't drink SO MUCH ginseng. it's fine in smaller doses, although even a small 'shot' of it gives me a headache anymore.   And probably get more sleep than you do.  Believe me, it catches up to you after a decade or two.

194
Oh, I misunderstood what you were meaning. lol.  I can up the remobilizeroutinetime for you if you wish.

To be honest, I don't know.  It's counter intuitive to what I would expect to be happening.  I'm no AI god, and I fully admit that, but to the best of my knowledge there's no part of the bindings that control which way it goes.  So, my best guess is it's just one of those things?

If it makes you feel any better, I personally guarantee you that it won't screw you over.

196
^ Win! lol

Anyway, Round Two of the Loser's Bracket now exists on the first page.  Yup, all the matches, because dangit, you guys are worth it.  Plus, I was bored.

ahhh, a Clerks reference.  Thumbs Up.

My favorite idea for a song name ever is "That Song", played by "Those One Guys".   Just because it'd be awesome to call into a radio station to request it.

Chatterbox / Re: What is Unichronology?
« on: May 14, 2011, 12:56:59 AM »

The way I'm seeing this word, its only plausible at a moment where everything is the same, regardless of where you are, so that the Chronological order of every single object in the world, would be exactly the same in that instance.

hmmm...Unless i'm misreading this, you might be better off with something like pansynchronous, the prefix 'pan' meaning global and synchronous meaning existing or occuring at the same time....

Tried that, but doing that I could only get 4 saws in that space.  Or, I could fit all 6, but they'd be unalligned.  And the outer two still have to be on ant saws, since they're attached to the MEs that are holding the dsl bars.  I'm not sacrificing too much weight this way, so think i'll keep the old ants.

Of course, unless i'm missing something, which is always a possibility
