To be fair with you, it does. I'm fairly sure those small decals can still be made with less faces but look identical.
I forgot to mention, I do not plan to add them to any game so far, we'll see about that...

Still looking good.
How are those faces doing?
I will hopefully take care of them today, but does it still look as bad close-up to you? I think it looks ok, because I would need that detail to give way for those craters around the lower parts of the horns. The horns themselves looks like this on close-up. Of course anything wouldn't look as detailed if you zoom in far enough, but does it look better now? I may have zoomed out too much before

The horns have been rounded out at the tips... making them more... let's say worn, and lifelike. After all, nothing in real-life is razor sharp to 100%. :)

The details (horns etc.) should be able to shed some of their faces. There's way too many.
Whoa... you opened my eyes a bit there! That's partly why I am posting my progress here: to get feedback Seriously though... thanks for telling me! I'll fix that as soon as I can EDIT: Flywheel updated as well.

So... I saw that the mesh was a bit dense... so I turned down the subdivisions on the model from 3 to 2. This halved the poly count (faces) from the 50,000 (round off from 49,572) count to approximately 20,000. (round off from 22,596). The triangles though, when subdivisions were halved, are still at 44,156.

*BUMP*
If I can get this conversion to work, I might get a very certain robot into Robot Arena 2 - Design & Destroy. It's been quite some time...

A clearer OpenGL render of the model, in Blender. Clearly shows how it looks right at the moment.

First update of 2018! Here's what my model of Matilda looks like today, in Blender :) Her tusks are slightly touched up... fine-tuned.

*BUMP* Just thought I'd post this here, instead of making a new thread with the same name. Every possible cheat for Robot Wars Extreme Destruction for the Game Boy Advance was found in the ROM of the game. Right here. Except that "CONTRARIO", "OPPOSE" and so on doesn't seem to work... there has to be some way to edit what robot gets unlocked when you beat a certain level or opponent. Either that, or simply try to use one of those cheats at the right time in the game.

Round out her buttocks a bit more.
I thought that was what he meant

I just read on the Robot wars wiki, that this took place in the Pinball Warrior Tournament of series 3. But was unfortunately cut out of the televised version. So if anybody has footage of it happening, please post it here!

Thank you, managed to get aod working but by god does the frame rate sh*t its self when doing a 6 way and sometimes a 3 way :/ any known fixes for this?
Pretty sure it's the sound settings. The sound provider shouldn't be "RAD Game Tools RSX 3D Audio", that's what gives awful FPS (frames per second) when having a lot going on in the arena. Set it rather to "DirectSound 3D Software Emulation", that's what I choose

I'm of course going to buy ALL the four new house robots if they make them as toy models, either radio controlled or pullback, doesn't matter

I got this collection of Robot Wars magazines from eBay for a quite low price. A maximum of £8, not that much. But a ton of magazines! I really liked this shot of Sir Killalot, probably around series 5. Scanned into my computer

Hmm, must have been the first world championship, or the international league then... EDIT (September 7, 2017): This is where I saw it. And this is what it looked like... sort of...

I remember one particular fight where Razer got a hold on the back of Sir Killalot, and if I remember correctly, smoke came out of Sir Killalot's back. Does anybody here remember what heat that was? It said so in my Robot Wars Magazine issue 5.
