I actually really like the DSL Bulldozer. It reminds me of a WW1 tank...
And this does seem to be about design more than anything else, but I would be a lot happier if you lightened the extender work on the DSL. It won't help with the battery problem (which might not be too much of a problem if its not meant to be combat effective), but it would make me happier.
EDIT: Didn't Hydro do something like the stock Bulldozer in his DSL showcase?

If you want my advice, forget it. Online matches are more or less dead now, and I hear it lags like . But I can't blame you for trying, so I downloaded a program called Hamachi that has servers for people to use online. But all the servers that I know of are full. So I've given up online stuff. If you want to show off your bots though, make a showcase for them. If you want to fight someone elses bots, download an AI pack, or have a look at the torneys. Welcome to the forums if you haven't been greeted already!

Ah right. Well I'm busy right now too. Would still build if I felt I had the time though.
Ahh well I'm not trying to get at you. It shouldn't take too long to attach a drive though should it?

But have you lost the enthusiasm to battle? If you don't build, you can't battle, and you can't improve your ideas easily and you certainly can't enter torneys. You're unlikely to gain much more respect either.
But, if you don't want to build, don't build. Thats fine, you're unlikely to get slammed. Advertising your lack of enthusiasm may find you getting slammed however.

How is it different to any other shell spinner? Apart from the fact that it doesn't use a full shell and is lacking in drive.
EDIT: If you're going to make that a SHW, perhaps I'd try and use stronger extenders.

Just be a bit patient. Sorry if it takes a while, but maybe no ones thought up a way to help you. Or maybe they're really not interested. Or maybe your thread does, in fact, have AIDS.
Anyway, how do you mean 'flips'? Do you mean it tips over (which is what I assume you mean), or that it havoks or glitches or something?
If it tips, then why not get rid of the bear claws, and find other ways of making extra weight for more extenders coming out the side for side support? This may or may not require a redesign of some sort.
And, in a bid to give what may actually be useful info, I heard those ram plates your using at the front are really bad in DSL 2.1

I started on the internet at about the same age as LRA2 actually, but I didn't start signing up to anything till last year.

One Nifty isn't going to be enough either. All those bots look really cool though.

Thats true. There at least several people who are younger than you.
I'm 15.
However, there are also at least several people older than you. Clickbeetle, for example, I believe is 21. And I believe Starcore is 44 (although I may have heard this wrong?).
We all know how old LRA2 is.

I discovered the game by chance, I think in 06. I downloaded off the website, played, loved. Didin't get involved in any forums though, and throughout most of summer 07, my internet conked out, so I couldn't. Stopped playing the game for about a year, then I discovered this forum by chance in March this year. This was now on my laptop which I got for xmas, so I downloaded RA2 off a file sharing site, joined the forum, playing, loving.

deep fried mars bar anyone? Damn right. I've never actually been to america and tried its chocolate from there, but I like to think I'd agree anyway. You ever come across that Bournville dark chocolate? Best. Ever.(imo)
