I remember Arighad doing his walkers like that, but with a little more finesse (no offense).

Also I doubt you could AI them at all.

Yea I know  :dumb) Ariqhad's walker is still the superior design.

Basically made this for the lulz.

Can someone please explain to me how Insult to Injury V's chassis wedge beat PitA 8's wedges twice in BBEANS 5?

If I'm not mistaken, Insult to Injury had most of the weight on the front, thus pressing down on the chassis wedge making it more wedgier.

*Shuffles out of bot lab*

After containing myself only to GTM and the Botlab, I have finally made a walker (Non competitive... Yet). I still have like, 400 KG to play around with since most tournaments give walkers a 400 KG weight cushion (Note, I already have 10 steel on this thing), though I'm still not sure what tournament will accept this... thing.

Alright. joking aside, I'm actually very happy with this. Why? Because after many failed attempts, I made it walk (It just kinda shuffles along actually, or whatever.)

Here's the Test Run:

I'm actually considering doing a DSL walker tourney.

I just need to learn how to AI them.

Sage's Curved Hammer, Final Destination. Basically, instead of making it straight, make it curve a bit.

it doesnt really matter whether or not you use a small wedge or not. the wedge is going to be horrible either way, but since its IRL its not like wedge quality really matters.

Small wedges are wedgier. They get under opponents easier.

Well, for me at least.

Walkers and Shufflers will gain a 400kg weight bonus, but at least 400kg must be used on the movement system.

You only need 4 ant batteries.
Nononononono, the bare minimum he needs 7 ant batteries. Anyways, you should easily be able to fit NPCs if you just ditch the rear part you currently have the drive in and just attach the NPCS behind the BSGS. (The right and left version of NPCS allow you to put like 99% of the motor outside the chassis.) Drop the strength of the chassis and up the plow to a medium plow or a heavy plow. You should also look into using a curved hammer instead of a straight one (I can post an example if you want). You would problaby be better off using razors instead of beater bars too.

I thought every motor only required one ant bat 'cause of a glitch?

Or was it only for spin motors?

Anyways, regarding the bot, definitely an improvement. But you might want to replace the beaters with razors, razors do more damage if I'm not mistaken.

And yea, curved hammers are good.

Not bad, not bad.

Use only the middle attachment point of the skirt hinge. You only need 4 ant batteries. You might be able to lower it to a Lightweight if you downgrade the armor.

what antivir program do you use?

It's Chinese. That's all I know.

Are you sure that anti-virus is not allowing virus instead of stopping them? A large amount of malwares will not only slow your PC down but will also affect the browsers a lot (personal experience).

Also IE has improved a lot lately. It can rival with Firefox.

I don't know. That might be the case.

IE rivaling Firefox? Hmm, I might just check it out...

But for now, I shall wait 'till the 28th before I make my decision. Maybe the Rockmelt team will decide to continue running it, after all, so far the feedback has been mostly positive.

Yes, but for whatever reason Rockmelt runs better, faster.

If both Chrome and Firefox lag, then I suspect it's more to do with your PC or internet connection.

Firefox and Google only lag when I watch videos.

And Firefox looks... off

My browser (Rockmelt) is retiring by 31st July and I need a new one. The following browsers are completely out of the question:

Google Chrome: Lags for me
Firefox: My dad uses it for his business work, and I think it has the same issues as Google Chrome

So, do you guys have a better alternative?

And no, I will not take Internet Explorer for an answer.
