Metal. Preferrably something like "Combustion" by Meshuggah.
I also think it should be played only during intros. I can't stand in-battle music. Or mabye have it in both, and an option to turn in-battle music off. 1785

NARYAR!!! YAYYY!!!
*ahem* The Hypnotist It was entertainment night at the senior Center. Claude the hypnotist exclaimed: "I'm here to put you into a trance; I intend to hypnotize each and every member of the audience." The excitement was almost electric as Claude withdrew a beautiful antique pocket watch from his coat "I want you each to keep your eye on this antique watch. It's a very special watch. It's been in my family for six generations" He began to swing the watch gently back and forth while quietly chanting, "Watch the watch, watch the watch, and watch the watch..." The crowd became mesmerized as the watch swayed back and forth, light gleaming off its polished surface. Hundreds of pairs of eyes followed the swaying watch, until, suddenly, it slipped from the hypnotist's fingers and fell to the floor, shattering into a hundred pieces. "sh**" said the Hypnotist............ It took three days to clean up the Senior Center. 1786

Best Rookie: Iron Spaghetti
I didn't know Scrap was less known than me. He's been around longer. Anyways, as the only shell spinner entered, it had a very impressive run. Props go to Philetbabe's BrasOuvert too, coming out of obscurity and picked to lose right off the bat, it proved quite a match for most bots. Coolest Bot: Diarrhea of a Madman Big, mean, dominating, and probably the best named bot. It should go down beside Mako as one of the best VS's ever. Most Fearsome Opponent: Diarrhea of a Madman Nobody wanted to fight it. Nobody. Whenever someone won, it was "Crap I got DoaM next." No celebration, just fear. BTSHDBBDDTBL: Haymaker Yeah, it did decent, but I've fought bots like it, and I can say for sure it could have beaten every bot in the field. If I remember correctly, all of its losses were OOTA's as well. 1789

Aww. To come all this way and lose twice to a bot I had already previously beaten... But I can't say I'm too dissapointed with 2nd place. Hazcon is an amazing bot and full credit goes to Naryar for winning. In all honesty, I think he should have gone undefeated in the tourney. And a huge thanks to CB for his committment to this tourney. He should get huge amounts of respect for this. It takes alot of work to put on any tourney, let alone the biggest, best and most sucessful one around. Here's to hoping it continues to be.
Now, time to start prepping for the next one. 1790

Dude, don't get your panties in a bunch. Just because Scrap and Naryar said it dosen't make it official.
Personally, I prefer TS too. It's much easier to type, and more accurate of a description. 1791

Taz and small wedges work suprisingly well. obZen's wedges are very good. Trust me on this one. It gets under every DSL AI no problem. Sometimes they glitch though and sink into the floor, enabling the other bot to go throught them (literally) and get under me.
I'm debating whether to remove a battery on Enfilad3 and put on some stronger armour, or keep the four batteries. Right now, I'm leaning towards three batteries with more armour, because that's what the one in BBEANS has. 1792

Well, my version of DSL imploded, so I had to delete it and re-install it. I lost everything except Enfilad3, Electric Red, obZen and R.O.B. But I improved all the three popups. Here they are:
EL3CTRIC R3D: Enfilad3: obZen: I'm still having a little trouble with obZen's wedges, but all of them are now much wedgier, have more batteries, stronger armour, and are more destructive. 1793

Is that a DSL snowplow? Or did you just paint it silver?
You have alot of talent. Keep up the good work. The only thing I would do with the HS is attach the HPZteks in a different way to make the bot invertible and remove that spike up top and use the weight for more weapons or defence somewhere. 1794

Basically, since slope is rise of the line over the run, having a completely vertical line is mathematically impossible from my understanding. The slope would be infinity divided by zero. In a distance over time graph (one measuring speed), such a line would mean that the object is everywhere in the universe at the same time.
Quote from: Serge;17509 (Image removed from quote.) There is a flaw in the fourth line here. a-1 = (a-1)(a+1) should equal a-1 = a^2-1 which is 0=0, not 1=2 :P 1795

HazCon again... well, I know I can beat him and he can beat me. The winner here could be decided by a coin flip.
And from my understanding, HazCon will need to win two rounds against Enfilad3, and I will only need to win one round to be the champion. Is this right CB? 1797

One day, NWB and RPB made love and had a baby. They named him Cocytus. He then ate both of his parents and anything around him.
The moral of this story is be afraid. Very, very afraid. |
