multibots fail cause they can hurt each other.. unless you give each of them decent defense and make them attack in only one direction. Not if it's a popup. Unless somehow both the enemy and your ally got wedged at the same time. @Philetbabe: You have a point. Knew it already, but I wasn't counting on the chances. An all direction HS would still rape both.

Did you get my bots? I'm sorta worried because you never replied.
Also, you should say how many spots there are left in each class.
Also, making more bots along with the ones I sent.

Looking at the odds of getting a draw I can handle, and the odds of winning if I don't - I really should learn how to make a decent snapper boosted (loaded?) HS.

ACAMS is working on the pack for whatever reason, and get the DSL components from the DSL mod pack..

I suppose some people are just talented that way or if you have entered tournaments on here which I think would improve people (hopefully me lol) but starcore is a good way for beginners to be shown how good there bots really are Heh. Yeah, Starcore bots pave the way on how RA2 is meant to be played, though I believe you don't have to have it to actually build the killer bot. You just have to know that what they do can be done. -- Should we get back on topic?

That'd be cool. Robot Rampage Reborn sounds good. Could be shortened to R3, too.
Are we totally sure DF is gone though?

I wouldn't personally want that, hard AI makes your skills as a builder improve, my building skills improved when I stopped facing the stock AI and started fighting Starcore ones :blackeye_smily: no pain no gain lol Interestingly, my BBEANS entry and current personal building pinnicle Big Flip's Revenge was made to pummel the stock AI - I never even ATTEMPTED to put it against ANY of the Starcore versions. Haven't touched Starcore in years, and my bots right now are at the best. <_<

Got to keep up my reputation of entering a sucky bot into BBEANS! It's not that bad. It's not special, but it could cause some trouble. --- What do you think has the best paintjob?

Redline: Vowel is a HS/SNS hybrid. I'd be more scared of that IMO. Huh. It looked like a rammer. Unless Vowel is the HS and Click didn't do it as Consultant (possible name recalling fail) at the top, Vowel at the bottom. Oh well. Like I footered the report, "Here ends the report from the unwise"

I'm scared of those lowhitting HSs. Undercutters too if there were any. Rammers... probably another losing factor.
On the note of (other) multi-bots... Wonder if S32's HS/undercutter/rammer team will work. Personally more worried about Consonant. Don't see Pressure's Fang bros getting anywhere. SFTW in multibot poker form. DGSG/IDRODI (possible name to abbreviation fail) looks toughest of the multis. Gears Your Lever looks like it could be simply improved.
Bad looking bots: Fang Brothers as mentioned. Tsunami. Most likely a popup, but useless without the wedge. The Baby Warrior. Should of just been a rammer with that spike setup. Poor designing. Red Radar. Could be much more effective.

And that concludes a report from the unwise. : /

Well, the label bore "XXXXXX.jpg", but either it was an exe or had a link to a site. I closed it ASAP. Can't provide more info since it was a quick glance only, because it began 'executing'... Hmm. If it was self-activating, then I can sympathise. The only MSN viruses I've seen people have only do links to pictures from 'Photobukket' and those custom links which have your email address on.

JPG files. Huh. Was it a link or actual downloads? Don't think I read clear enough.

These are rammers and they have 3 spikes each including 2 overlapping spikes. Shows I should of actually watched the videos. Well, it's more respectable.

JD- it will be a two to three day period to submit your bot.
Ian- No, this is not like BTEST, maybe sometime in the future?
Entrants updated BTEST.. that was what it was called. Anyway, no, I'm not in this one.

Reminds me of a contest on Technex's forums. 6 competitors build a bot from a prebuilt chassis. Make a splash, and the judges decide how good the bot is on a scale of 1 to 5 (I think it was)
Never took off, really. And since this has the battling aspect, this probably will.

Sweet. I'm building stuff for this.
I'm guessing.. DSL bots with true-to-life realism?
