robo chalange does some rx, they seem a bit pricey, i do have an ar500 or something like that, is that any good? how does 4mm steel hold up to atacks bearing in mind i don't want to fight spinners yet. i am a tad worried my feahterweight only weighs 3kg so far, excluding batterys, wheels and speed control, and that i cost £5 to build from scratch- not "i had motors and batteries and armour lying around and all i bourght was some bolts" actualy from nothing.
You really need a spektrum, but you also need a compatible receiever with a failsafe for a FW, which are the bot recievers Ideally you want hardox armour for a pusher, but if thats a bit too pricey, and you don't feel comfortable welding, thick HDPE should work just as well, if constructed properly (but it must be 20mm+) And 3kg ain't a feather :P, up your drive motors ect and you should be making it fairly competitive :D

Oh, I meant the rammer, still, make all weapons level and pointing in the same direction
Hmm... I think i'm just gonna leave it as it is and all the weapons are level and 12 bb is good enough for me with 2 on the side.
Lazy :P You could have 16 small beaters all in a row

For transmitters, yes the DX6E is perfect, but you need an old spektrum bot reciever to go with it (you need the failsafe)

Won't get under anything.
Better than it was before, but yeah, it needs a metal hinge wedge

I would have said keep the beta as it was as this increases leverage and flips better (I have tested this)
I have tested and found otherwise :P

How many Ants?
It says in the splash, 23.
Turn the beta 180 degrees and if your not gonna have a metal hinge wedge, just use the wedge supplied from the burst
Why, and Ok, i'll do that. So, what happens to the underbelly protection?
You need plenty of reach from a flipper, I'm not too sure why put betas the wrong way around Underbelly protection stays if you have the weight for it :P
