Just finished building a K'Nex pickup truck (also known as the ACAMSmobile) from Instructables.
My fingers are raw. D=

Perhaps I'm just an awesome driver. It could be a track thing, though. Perhaps they're tracks that favour the Abarth. Maybe if there were tracks with some more straights, that would tip the balance towards the other cars.

I'm not entirely sure that's the way I'd have assigned the byes, though. One on either side of the bracket should work. Was it randomised, and that's how it ended up as such?
I put them both on that side as the top 2 from divisions 1,2,3 and 4 are on the right side and the top 2 from divisions 5,6 and 7 are on the left and the byes are in place of the non existent division 8 , so that is why there is the byes.
I see. I'd try getting rid of the byes in the first possible round, but it's your tournament. I'm not gonna tell you how to run it. Just make sure the hazards are off. =P

On the subject of signs, I imagine ACAMS will have this in his front yard.

Interesting use of the FF. Since it's slanted, and with the collision mesh of the component, how often do opponents get trapped between it and the main wedges?

That should be a good match, provided I get that far. If I want to get to the final, I have to go through ONLY Vertical Spinners and SnS. It's been a really tough draw for me in this, but I hope I can make up for getting screwed by the hazards last time around.

That was what I was concerned about, him going into spikeball immediately and hitting me on the top. Why did it take so damn long for him to register as eliminated?
And now I've got another VS of the same variety. I do hope my luck holds out for this one.

But the SnapperII was never used for its original intention. It was supposed to be a burst motor, but people instead used it to create super-compact Snapper-loaded designs. The 140cm extender might be broken because of its weight, but you pay the price in terms of fragility. It's such a big target, and one decent hit will easily take it off.

Annabelle Lynn Baker was born at 4:30 PM (CST) on April 3, 2012. She weighed 5 lbs, 12 oz.
Isn't the average weight for a newborn around 7lb, and anything under 6 and a half is classed as fragile? O_O
7 and a half pounds, I found. It could have simply been a premature birth, that would explain it. 5 lbs 12 oz is only 4 ounces above being classed as Low Birth Weight.

You very rarely see bots with wedges that thin going parallel to the ground. If you think in terms of Panic Attack's side skirts, or Plunderbird 2's bulldozer blade, I think that's the sort of thing skirt hinges should be used for in IRL building.

Ah well. I sort of thought that was how it'd go. If you can't win, then look awesome.

When did you lose to Garvin, NFX? LOL
Pot Luck. =P Sheck Spinner vs. three-Beta Flipper or something.

LOLWAT. If I were Naryar, I would be mortified. That's worse than when I lost to Garvin.

Yeah, lower the chassis and swap to a round extender instead of a T. That'll give you the weight for DSA, I'm pretty sure.

I think the problem with the two previous bots was that the screenshots didn't really show us much at all. A clearer shot inside the bot lab, with the internals being shown, gives us a lot more to go on when it comes to offering advice.
And don't stack your CB and batteries like that. It's unrealistic.

Not bad. You could lower the chassis, and stack the CB into the Black to get a bit more weight for DSA if at all possible. And since you've Snapper Loaded the motors on, you could swap the T Connector for a round extender to save an extra 3kg. What's the weight at the moment?

Grip's a bit of a misnomer, though, it's just a speed multiplier. The WBC wheels have the same amount of grip as Techno Wheels at the moment, which seems a bit wierd to me, but they're just as fast as each other. If tank tracks have low grip, that just means the bot will move slower, but if they have a very high resistance (which is the actual grip of the component in the game), then they'll still be easier to control, slide much less, and have a better chance of pushing an opponent, probably.
