All right everybody, I'm back from Arizona and I got round 5 of the loser's bracket done! We're at the point now where there's pretty much no boring fights. All the remaining bots are very good, and always make for exciting battles (at least until two slow shell spinners run into each other, but fortunately that doesn't happen until next round ).

Also UHW battle will usually not result in a kill. OOTA, Immobile, and WBP will be the main 3 ways to win.
Good point. Maybe instead of 3 2-minute matches, you could do one 3-minute match? Or possibly even 5 minutes, if you're willing to endure it turning into 10+ minutes for the increased chance of a KO happening. I briefly thought of entering a BFE multibot consisting of 20 LW's... but the rules probably will not allow that, and it would be a pain to AI. (But it would be worth it to see in action.)

Listing of forum errors
Congratulations, no errors found! Thanks for checking. [/color]
This function is supposed to restore missing posts or threads. Clearly something is wrong, but I don't know what it is and neither does the forum.
Perhaps there are just too many posts on here for the system to keep track of?

Somebody within that company, ad agency, or marketing dept has a love for combat robotics.
They must, if they went to all the work to build three functioning bots just for a couple of commercials. I want to see the real bots fight each other. I predict Psychosis would win.

dir = havokflipper
model = havokflip.gmf (with a lowercase H)
Try adding those.

ok... and any comments on Gyrometric Death?
Ya dun goofed.
Needs more weps.
Gyrometric death is fine, it's more of a gut ripper than a VS. 6 teeth is enough for a gut ripper. Also, Gyrometric Death looks very cool.

Awesome work. Do the discs really do much though?
And is that Narmor I see behind all the spikes? :P

I never thought it possible, but Sparkey has actually failed at making a failbot
So does that make it a winbot? At least the VS looks decent.

Poor, outdated Drumblebee 5. I've tried making two new versions and neither of them were good.
Oh, and cool bot.

See Mome Rath... the best way to do that design is with wheels in the back, and something like plows in the front, or ramming spikes if you want it to last against HS's. If it's too tippy you can either give it smaller-diameter weapons and lower it, or make it longer.

I thought there was a mod around that expands it to infinite
There is, but there is a second, invisible max sphere that's coded into the exe rather than using a gmf file. Try building a bot like Pwn's Galactus or my Timber II and you will quickly discover this.

I am impressed at how well flail hammers work on spin motors. And also surprised it doesn't AGOD. JB definitely deserved the win in that match. (Unless, of course, that one tooth would break on Smash's hammers...)

Cool undercutter. Yay for overpowered weapon motors!

Reliably beats all the LWs with the exception of Hammerhead Shark
And AntonYYYm and Ice Tornado. Wait, did you say CGS can beat Tempest? How is such a thing possible?
WIIDE LOAD I suppose you could luckily hit the motors, and Saber Teeth might not be hard, but Tempest?

Nice use of the skirt hinge. For some reason I like how that bot looks.

You're taking the wrong approach... you should decide what type it's going to be, and THEN make a chassis. Otherwise you might not be able to fit all the stuff in that you want, and if you do, there's likely to be wasted leftover space.
But that chassis looks like a popup if I've ever seen one.

Do you have a folder named Havokflipper, with a smallsheet.gmf inside?

That would require totally revamping the .bot file format. As would soft body physics. At that point you're probably better off attempting to make an RA3 from scratch.
This decompiler function sounds interesting though, if you could somehow access it. I wonder if there is a compiler function too?

Click, did you fix my smartzone?
Yes, it is now as far forward as the tips of the razors.
