Finished skinning the chassis. 2048*2048 skins ftw! Freeziez will love me. A 16,000kb bot file.  With inspiration from this video I'm not sure what to do with the flippers. Skin them white? Blue?

No idea, but i'm not entering it into BBV, i've just decided. Anyway:  After the dismal failure that was Eighth Day. I fixed him! I got rid of the useless pokey spike on the back and made it a flipper. It then magically became a heavyweight. I'm going to start making him look pretty now.

Started hurting my eyes after not too long. If I was going to buy one, I'd have to turn the 3d off most of the time which is defeating the point.
I have one. It gave me a headache after the first twenty minutes. But I played it the next day and there was no problem. I still have 20/20 vision, no headaches and I play it often.
I think it's just a case of getting used to it, personally.
Could be that. Is the 3d bad when you're on a train or something? I've heard it takes a bit to adjust to it once you lose focus.

Also most of your WiiU points are bad. Your school is probably not a good opinion. If it was anything like my school then it was probably more "COD RULEZ". Ignore them and look down on them with slight disdain. Having said that, your school must be fun if you get bullied for what console you get.

Very nice. Could you use a inverted baseplate anchor to mount the dsl disc and then mount the etek directly onto the disc?

If you keep the halfsheets you won't have to worry about the poly being exposed. Admittedly it'll be a bit of a squeeze but still.

I love it for the name alone.
I would change to a cf extender on top. And, unless you took that screenshot while it was spinning, replace the axle mounts to remove the agod.
And is the mer gearbox mounted inside the chassis? With some effort you could probably shrink the chassis and mount the mer gearbox outside, saving weight.

Not entirely sure what the highest resolution bot skin you could have is. I think it would need to go up in powers of two, so maybe try 1024x1024 next.
Highest i've ever gone to is 4,096. Made the .bot file huge though.

Time's Up! New tournament! With a new logo and everything! Hopefully with this I can get back to Pot Luck standard videos with intros and everything. :D Rules:- DSL 2.1 MW Tag Team.
- 2 TEAMS MAX
- RA2T2 Tournament Arena, Hazards Off.
- 32 team, double elimination bracket.
- DSL Realistic Rule Enabled.
- No BFE/AAM
- Any in game glitches that still abide by the realistic rule are allowed.
- No Cheatbot2.
- No Multibots.
- No Crawlers.
- No Custom Components Allowed.
- Best out of three matches, 3 minutes each.
- Two havok restarts per team per match. After that the team is DQ'd.
- If a havok restart is needed. Then it shall be restarted with the surviving robots at that point in the match.
- Bots can be upgraded any time until the splash and brackets are posted. They must be just tweaks and upgrades of the same robot. Not a completely different bot.
- I can ai, however it would be grand if you could do it yourself.
- No reserving spaces.
Teams:- A team consists of two MW DSL robots.
- Initially, teams must have two people in. (Each team member making one team each.)
- However. If, after one month, there are spaces. Then you can either:
-Enter a team of two robots on your own. These must, however, be different robots.
-Form another team with someone else.
I reserve the right to allow people to do both of these if there are enough spaces. - If there are spaces after two months, then I shall proceed with byes. Or if there are few enough people, proceed with a 16 team double elimination bracket.
- Themed teams are encouraged.
- If, for any reason, I have robots left over with no teams (team mate failing to send bot or something.) Then I shall try and pair them up with other lone robots. Or if one bot is left over then I shall put it in a team on it's own, with it filling both slots.
And the gimmick is... ...That there is no gimmick! Go wild. I was contemplating making it triple elimination, but that'd just get confusing. I know this one is a big bracket for tag teams. When saving in gimp for robot skins. Select "Save as..." and then try to save it as a .bmp. When it gets to the advanced options. Expand them and select X8 R8 G8 B8. Then press save. That should do it.
