I just thought Sparkey was being a bit harsh with Hard Bot purely because he was new...i.e. he wouldn't challenge someone like that if they were an experienced builder even though the bot concepts are the same.
Everyone gets harshed around when they're new! :D

actually, I believe all of the Action Essential videos are pre-colored keyed (meaning there is no background). The default backdrop for AE is black, so it just looks like they have a black background in the video. Try putting something beneath it and see if it works.

And I'm guessing you'd be saying the same thing if you were talking to Sage about Bumble Bee when it was first showcased?
actuallly fracture i got a ton of RAGEEE at me for entering Bumble Bee into BBEANS 5. The idea was to get a crawler with fast controlled movement (which it has) but people missed the point and saw it as a cheap tornado bot of death (which secretly they were all scared to fight). no worries though, i wouldn't expect you to be caught up on RA2 history this fast.

the lower row of weapons arent gonna do that much cause the wedges bring the opponent too high off the ground. maybe make the wedges wider. as for driving straight, try re-attaching the wheels in a criss-cross pattern.
