Why did you guys use fake names on IRL bowling?
Maybe so everyone could know who got what? For those that don't know their real names.
And if we knew their real names we could find them online and post their address and phone number and parents' and siblings' names.
You can only put 3 letters on the board, we can't really suss out all that from just initials.

Suppose so, I guess I'm just having trouble wrapping my head around that they'd planned in advance to share their mediocre scores (No offence) with an online forum

I finally got around to implementing the RW arena skin, here are some pictures of the fruits of your labour. The pit trigger does have to be silver unfortunately, its skin is the same as that of the control pods.

A combat robot just isn't the kind of thing you go and flip.
Heh, this sort of reminds me of the "One does not simply walk into Mordor" meme. I'm serious though Jamin, when (not if) the bot fails to sell, send the guy a message saying you'd buy it for a substantial price reduction. Offer him half your total budget, and negotiate from there. At some point, bring up that it must be a real pain for him to have to store it, always a good argument when you're haggling on something really big and heavy.

I wouldn't call him a "-," he's just flipping it.
True I guess, but it aggrivates me that somebody who would do that would be the one who buys it. I reaaallly wanted to as well, but I couldn't get the money to do so and I hoped somebody who would actually use it would get it. A combat robot just isn't the kind of thing you go and flip.
Try negotiating, I assume you have some money to offer. He doesn't seem very bright in the head, you could probably convince him to sell it at a loss. Vertigo: Foul language removed

And you all know the story of Slap 'Em Silly.
I have the skit they did on vhs.
I assume they acted out some sort of tense bidding war in a live auction, with a gavel and everything.

This seems like a good thread to have, give each other a heads up when we find robots or related stuff for sale on Ebay. Here's a current one. Seems legit.

Is this a rule? I've been looking at the showcase rules, and it isn't listed as an offence.

Biothan. I like how it's got a minimalistic chassis.

They're not dating, they just are so close you'd think they were family. They're like Bert and Ernie. Or Joey Danny and Jesse on Full House

Cool cool. Any word on what the difference between the two packages is? Also, on multiplayer games, do you need one of the players to act as the "spoiler" even if you don't have 5 people?

This is awesome Click! Now I can finally stop asking dumb questions about each py. I love how you've set it up so that I can look back to the .py for the meaning of each variable.

Just use a thermidor antenna.
Liking it, does it have turning issues like the original did?
Surprisinly not that major, I guess it's because of the game's physics - the drill and frame are relatively light compared to the body and innards.
