Facebook is dreadful. It's everywhere, and it doesn't work. Therefore there will be some stage where the entire internet stops working. There was a story on the news the other day about Facebook having spent a billion dollars on buying a photo uploading/modifying site or iPhone app or something, and about half the people who used it stopped, saying the reason they used it was because it WASN'T Facebook. And I agree with them, I am <expletive>ing sick of it.

So I'm trying to play Boggle on pogo, but I keep getting a "fbconnect initialisation missing (fbconnect/js.do)" message. Whatever the hell that means. Anyone know how I can sort it?

At least in the UK, the competitors go home with something that vaguely resembles a robot, rather than a bin bag full of scrap. Thus they can return for more battles without having to spend a lot of time and money putting their robot back together.

Welcome back, Stag. =) Nice to see you building again.
As for the bot, it looks somewhat decent. I'd probably drop to Tite 3, Steel 3 is pretty inefficient. And it looks as if the razors might be cutting through the chassis, I'd try to remedy that. 1693

This is what I got up to when I had no power today.

Just got back from a day of the power being turned off for power line maintenance. Played Monopoly with my sister (and lost), then built Plunderbird One out of K'Nex. Will take photos once my camera has been charged enough.

Stock Showcases / Re: RammingSpeed's Showcase-age (stock)« on: April 09, 2012, 03:51:53 PM »
Should ideally have two. If you need to, retract the chassis at the front, and make the wedge steeper. Or three Nifties, if you can get it to work.

Icepicks seem to be a bit pointless to me, I understand they're there to protect the extenders. I would rather spend the weight on frontal protection, perhaps a pair of casters. They're both lighter, and invincible.

They're the same size as regular Z-Teks, only a bit longer. If you move the SnapperII's forward a little, that would give you the space. If you need to, resize the chassis to accommodate, sometimes that's the only way to get it right.
