is there anything I`ve missed the past few weeks?

Battlebots 3 is allowing multiple entries to fill up the weightclasses, there have been some great IRL bots showcased and then you also missed the general GTM crap.

Since I'm not getting too many more entries, and I'm starting to get into a time crunch (btw, when does my time to finish this tourney end?) should I just do 4 LW and 4 SHW?

I think you should allow builders to enter two bots in different weightclasses to fill up the brackets. I've got a LW bot I could enter.

Most of my best builds occur during study hall periods. Such as the Hammerbot I made today.  :gawe:

Why do you always seem to use NOS as a sponsor on your IRL robots?

Cause the other decals often screw up the monochromatic look and make it look slightly less cool.

You guys get your bots 3D printed? How well does the ABS plastic hold up?

Nobody in their right mind would put polycarb sheets on a bot like that IRL.  (change them to aluminum and I will forgive you.  ;) )
I guess I'm not in my right mind but I did it for different reasons that will only be understandable after the Franklin Cup next week.

Urjak that VS looks awesome. I'd be slightly worried about the whole drive being held on with exposed flipper makers. Could you drop down to Techno wheels and cover them. It also might make it look better.

RA2 is better.

Nate could you please spoiler your jumbo pics? My .03mb/s internet doesn't like them.

Anyone know a way I can legally get $92,000 so I can get into Neumont University?

Scholarship?

Anyways I just helped Dave Calkins (founder of combots/robogames)

If you're going for a replica of your real bot you did well. As for RA2, it's mediocre at best. You could shrink your chassis down to a cube and externally mount the drive motors so you can shave some weight to make your chassis armor better than TI 1.

I know I'm guilty of this too but try to blend your metal hinge wedges with the main wedge better.

You could have put your ramming spikes and TI sheet on a skirt hinge and made the AI fire it when it's upside down so you could have some invertability. Alternately you could use DSL1 wheels, and that might give a better look to the bot.

Hammer=30kg
Heavy Plow=35kg
Heavy plows are longer so extenders can be shorter. 5kg can be saved per side.
???
PROFIT

I put the heavy plows on and it was all good until I discovered it did the thing

I don't think you fully understand the concept of a whammer.

Take a look at the DSL version of Devil for a better idea of what a whammer is.

Aww, as much of a PC guy I am its still sad to see a visionary and inventive genius like him go.
