Well, to make a Gurren Laggan the rules would have to allow for giant drills, not canons.
There are quite a bit of mecha with guns in Gurren Lagann... they just get less screentime than the protagonist's.
Well, the Dai-Gunzan would work I guess, but it'd be hecka difficult to actually build a passable replica. Or just make a cannon that shoots drills. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY

Cannons? Bland? Nonsense. And the custom cannons rule means you can go slightly wild and make a bullet  machine with ease.

ah kk it's just that almost all botm's have the weight featured so i just figured it was something mandatory.
It actually is usually included in the rules, but apparently not this time. Although, maybe ACAMS edited it out so that he could allow the only good entry.

RULES:
This month will be Christmas Theme
- Build a Christmas themed bot using whatever means necessary in RA2
- Make a splash and upload it using the uploader
- You MUST include a shot of the insides
- Entries can be no wider than 700px and no taller than 800px
- Entries can be any image type NO LARGER than 14.0 MB total if with video (14336KB or less)
- Entries need to be in by Wednesday 11/28/12 12:00 midnight Central time
OPTIONAL: You can upload A VIDEO to display with your bot.....total ZIP, RAR, or 7ZIP can be no larger than 14 MB
If you upload a video, you must zip your splash and vid together.
It says nothing about showing the weight, brah.

Anytime J submits a joke bot everyone jizzes themselves and votes for it. God forbid anyone else make a joke bot, though...
Sorry, but J is just funnier than you, and SFTW was overused last Christmas. Still, it was pretty obviously not a serious entry.

Honestly I had stopped building by the time I built those 2 bots. I normally favored the horizontal spinner. I think I had thrown those together quickly for the site vs. site tournament or whatever was going on.
You can critique my sh** all you want, I probably won't be playing online or anything, I'm just firing up the game for nostalgia, like if I were to play Sonic 2 for Sega Genesis just because I grew up with it. I almost never play video games anymore, I don't have the time and it barely interests me. If I play anything these days it's usually Battlefield 3 or Skyrim and that's once a month if I'm lucky. I've only recently gained a large amount of free time as I've quit working and am just waiting a few weeks to ship out to Army basic training.
Anything I post in here will be an AAM freak of nature.
