Too many HS.  Epitaph does less good against other HS.  It was pure luck I got past Mike in the first round.

What the heck was up with Wolfsbane's bot?

Or SKBT's bot for that matter?  It looks like some of the drive motors aren't wired.

And where's my flamethrower? Did I fail safety for it and need to have it removed or something?

My brother drove it.

LockJaw bit Shish-Kabot, died and got stuck to it. So the builder of General Disarray hooked up his bot to LockJaw to unstick LockJaw and Shish-Kabot

Once, I won and lost at the same time.  :gawe:

I got Shish-Kabot propped up on the arena bumper with Phoenix.

In the 30lb sportsman class; Phoenix took 2nd going 3-1, Shish-Kabot took 3rd going 2-2, and DoorStop went 2-2 in the 12lb class

The bots are done, the car is loaded, it's (almost) robot fighting time

I like how SKBT took the idea behind Ryu Kishin and made anothe bot out of that :) Wish I entered with Ryu again

I did? I thought I went with "generic wedgebot" and made it look cool.

I forgot to send a reskin of the Overkill wedge.  :rage

Anyways my favorites are DSC's SHW, Mike's LW, Virus Bomb's HW, and SM's SHW

and the least realistic award goes to....

Phoenix, now with decals and a swish cheesed flipper arm.

Also I've got some fun alternate armor configurations for Shish for next weekend. I removed the siphon tube from the CO2 bottle on Phoenix so now it doesn't draw as much liquid CO2, theoretically allowing the main tank to act like a "buffer tank" allowing the gas to expand before going into the ram.

As an IPhone owner I can attest to it being a crappy phone. I hate autocorrect (although it has led to some funny conversations) and the overall instability of the phone itself. That and the giant screen is just asking to get scratched.

RA2 is stupid. That's why it crashes...

Haz you should make your 30lber glow with some crazy bright LED's, like what I did with DoorStop

why are all UK fights held in dimly lit arenas? :P

UK robot fights are more showy and theatrical because it takes a different approach to the sport than US events. In the US its all about winning while in the UK its about the fun of it, hence the multi robot fights and house bots.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Making a RA2 website.
« on: October 10, 2011, 08:33:19 AM »
Sorry dude but I see no point in making a website. Your total target audience is less than 100 people, most of which already are experienced in RA2 and have no need to read about it. You also might want to work on your writing skill before trying to write a website. Also your schools web filter probably blocks free websites so unless you are willing to pay around $10 at minimum a month for hosting service your website wont serve it's intended purpose.
