Dual Perm is better because you can mount it externally with 8000 HP, and bumbles better after getting wedged with 60 torque.
The 35 torque and 400 HP 6 mag is not the best for surviving against wedges. Even if it can result in winning the de-weapon war against another shell.

I think he meant he's trying to improve from Diamond Cutter.

External dual perm is a lot better, even if that makes it more of a Weapon Array clone.

Any kind of horizontal weapon is about sweep, de-weapon, possibly bouncing around. Barely moving forward is good enough. Moving forward quickly with a HS doesn't help against Wedge, VS, or other HS. So why pay so much for the drive when there are so many other place to spend the KG, like weapon mass?
Just look at Urjak's HW SS, which only has 1 NPCF + 1 Hypno. So yes 2 NPC Normal + Rubber is quite excessive for a HS.
2x Astralflight + vlad is more than enough.

Lol that's excessive drive for a HW HS.

one of the main focal points of DSL3 is making the replicas much better at fighting...
Impossible unless replica uses a completely different set of txt. Even with vastly OP replica parts they do not have the shape advantage when compared with non replicas. competition has degraded DSL 2 to selected methods and parts but the idea was always realism... to make it as close to a simulator as possible, thats why so many motors, batteries and such are all real life parts..
No degrading has taken place in DSL2. The imbalance among components and the broken physics engine was always there. An update patch with balance fix can easily double the amount of usable components. It is a good thing that DSL didn't turn out as intended. If all I get to do is clone the shape of a real life bot and leave no room for creativity or exploration, I would have long stop playing DSL. Looking at your showcase I would assume you actually like moving beyond replicas.

I think the replicas should be skipped. I mean they look nice, but has no gameplay value and will become obsolete once the first AI pack comes out.

Lol couldn't Naryar just send one of his old bots instead of taking a default lost?

Drop one of the drive motor and use 1 NPC Left Fast + 1 Micro wheel.
2 multiextend + 2 Astralflight + 2 wheels = 56kg
1 NPC left fast + 1 micro = 50kg
Move forward using FBSPlus.py. You can find examples of this in 123AI.

Wait why are we on this board with nobody voting for RA2 or DSL?

There is certainly an optimum length between wheel to wedge and length of wedge. Just alternating those two easily affects wedge power.
As for weight distribution, the thing is everyone put all their weight in front of the wheels as is. Moving those batteries further forward seems to make virtually no difference on controlled studies. Even if they make a difference they are vastly overshadowed by all the other unknown factors that makes a wedge work.
Worst part is, almost every wedge that claims to be a lot better has so far been tested to turn out average with further testing. Most people simply conclude their wedge is good after running about 5 to 10 trials. But when it comes to probabilistic stuff you don't really get an accurate answer until you do like 50+ runs. Like flipping a coin getting 5 heads in a row happens all the time.

New update patch include update on Circle of Thorn (Urjak), and the previous 2 fixes (High Density Molecule and SHW Graphics).
Please help improve 123AI by leaving comment.

Lol listening in class is overrated. And certainly does not help one bit when it comes to math.

Lol Whipscorpion uses the same mechanism that Sting Ray uses to stay in the arena.

I stop caring when I realize there are no rational way of making the wedge better then other people doing pretty much the same thing.
You put on that metal hinge, you put on that angled skirt or small wedge, you optimize the length of the bot, you move the drive back, and that's that. There's nothing else you can do to make the wedge better. If it AGOD or simply fails, then you just wasted some hours building the silly thing.
Put in another way, when it comes to wedge, any proven factor will be copied and widespread. It's not so much different when every bot has skirt hinge to every bot metal hinge, you still end up with every wedge about the same. The only way you can make your wedge better than others is through all the random factors that nobody knows of.

Did you install the UI? If you did so properly all SHW should show up with a purple S.
Otherwise they will show up with the light weight icon because it simply doesn't have the icon for SHW. It's only graphic and doesn't affect anything per say.
Edit: Looks like I left out the icon myself.
Edit2: Update patch uploaded for SHW to show up properly.

The problem is people start hosting tournaments in open arenas to favor the wedge......

Not to say that 123AI has any particularly good wedge or anything. It's random, you put metal hinge on it, you either put angle skirt or small wedge, and somehow some wedge works and others doesn't. Although sometimes it also seem like some wedge is better than others until you run it 20+ times, then it goes from winning to losing just like that.
