Man. I'd forgotten what the site even looked like. I see that I'm only credited as being a moderator and banner maker. I recall doing more graphics than just banners. Maybe I hadn't yet done anything else. (I notice Be0t, grawss, and HackerX weren't on the staff list yet.)

I snowboarded for a while, though I wasn't very good at it because it's harder when you are taller (6'0") Cut back on that because Tickets at the resorts became too expensive. I'm an ace with a frisbee & I love to Mountain bike until I am covered in earth bits.
I was too nerdy to play sports in school (Curse you Magic the Gathering!) I tried out for the Tennis team thinking that I would be a natural at it (because it looked like fun). But it was harder than I thought and I got nailed in the family jewels by an errant tennis ball during one practice. I ended up laying on a locker room bench for hours hoping my nuts would not hurt for the rest of my life. That was my final practice, needless to say. :P

Hahah! <3 What? Like this?  circa: 2007 I think there was at least 5 snappers in there and probably 100k in extenderwork too. :P Noodle has a lot more promise than I do at becoming an awesome builder. He seems eager to learn all the tricks to make powerful bots. Which is cool if he does not frustrate himself too much in the process. His progress has been nice and steady, which is cool. :D

That's awesome Jonzu! That sounds like so much fun. I went out to a "town wide" yard sale today. There was a ton of books to choose from. I picked up these two:   Both of them seem really interesting. Midnight in the Garden is hard to explain, so I won't bother. The Personality of the Cat appears to be a collection of stories/poetry written about different cats and their personalities. Reading through a few pages got me pretty interested so I picked it up.

Hang in there man! We feel your pain. The game  can be really frustrating at times. Personally I hate using Snapper 2's (the blue ones) because I never can seem to get them to work in my favor. Try not to get too frustrated and remember that your primary purpose in relation to the game is to just have fun. These things will come to you with time, so try not to stress out. Whenever I have a ton of trouble with a bot I drop the project for a bit and goof off with some replica making or something simple, just to chill out. :D

I vote for the Saitek as well. I have some excellent Saitek speakers and I think the build quality is stellar. For the record my fav keyboard is the Firefly Borealis:  Slim, Simple, Petite, and excellent lighting. Very nice budget keyboard without all the frills.

Yeah we did. I think you were kicking around for a month or so earlier than Scrap and I. I don't recall any of your noob bots though. Wow, I remember Tankorperated and Shower Dough. I guess, if anything, we should have had a running list of contact emails in case the boards were permanently Borked! You know what though, now that some of the newer members are starting to mature up and whatnot, we got a pretty good clan going nowadays.
