We are quite tollerant, yes. And that did sound daft, yes. However, that sort of blind stereotyping gets on my nerves.
Yes but we do have our limits And acams is about to cross mine if he makes another derogatory post like that
HEHEHE......I can come up with a good one every once in a while....can't I?

And as for the part about us not getting anything Stateside, you're forgetting Canada and most of the Caribbean Islands.
New England was named that by the sioux Indians as a joke! The French took Canada a gift, because NOBODY wanted it!

Well actually ACAMS, North America was once part of the British Empire. I hope you don't really believe that! Those brits came over here to claim America, and Paul Revere warned everybody the british were coming and the Americans whupped british ass so bad they decided not to claim anything over here!

English people think that they should still own America. They never did own America, so I doubt ANY think they SHOULD own America.

OK, here is a clue The latent heat of fusion of water is 144 BTU per lb @ sea level Your home AC is rated using this formula Ever hear of a 3 ton unit....it does not weigh 3 tons, that is how heat it can move.
A 3 ton unit unit is 36,000 BTU/HR
3 tons of ice = 6,000 lbs
So 6000 (3 tons) times 144 (latent heat) equal 864000 divided by 24 (the hours in a day) equal 36,000 -------- a 3 ton unit I want the answer to be _________BTU/LB @ sea level The answer IS out there, because I saw it!

I have been buying Toshiba for about 5 years, and had one total piece of junk, and my favorite one lasted 2 years and then the motherboard went bad and they wanted over $600.00 to fix after keeping it for about 8 months. If it goes bad after warranty......just go buy a new one and don't mess with them. They did fix 2-3 that were still under warranty and got them back to me pretty quick.

Not the correct answer......NEXT!! If nobody answers correctly by tomorrow I will give clues.....back when I learned about latent heat (about 25 years ago), google had NO answers, infact 5 years ago there was very little on the subject.
