I've finally started Pokemon Black. It's taking forever for all the good Pokemon to appear! I've got 4 badges in my pocket, and only found 3 Pokemon that I really want on my team (Snivy, Timpole, and Siglyph) Why do they do this to me?
For those curious, the Pokemon I do want are Litwick, Galvantua, and the Dark/Steel one (forget name)

Because the game is "broken" apparently, IMO people just aren't trying hard enough to create new bots that aren't clones etc. Also don't tell them to notice of the game because they will hate you for it too.
The learning curve is too steep, 99% of what you can do in the game (and 100% of your real-life robot building instincts) is useless if you want to make a bot that's tournament-worthy. The process is long and tedious. This ain't the first sh**storm to hit the forum either is it? If people think HX is cool for saying sh** like "If you can't take the heat.. drink bleach" then what real nice community we have.
HX is a cunt, why are you even listening to him? You do have one point though, there's lots of good stuff in the modifications section that isn't getting proper recognition.

Phoenix Wright is a sensible answer. The criminal justice system always catches the bad guy, and you can hire someone to channel a dead relative or celebrity. People's taste in fashion and food is revolting, but it's better than some disaster-ravaged world, or one full of monsters & creatures that could kill you.

1. What do you want to see more of? Recognition for artistic or just-for-fun building
2. Why don't you comment much? (ignore if you do). Because other people are better at it, and I'm worried I'll get a mute or ban if I don't give good advice.
3. Where do you spend most of your time on the forum? Playground, I was trying to keep Survivor and Ask Sonny going.
4. Do you watch tournament videos that don't feature your own bot? Occasionally
5. Why don't you enter BOTM? Because I'm not good at graphic design
6. How many AI packs do you have? None, it's not a priority
7. Do you play stock, DSL or both? DSL, heavily modded

I've said it a million times, the artistic side of building is way too underappreciated on this forum. I have proof that my replicas attract new members. Some people can be real twats when they give critique to new members, I know I had to think for quite awhile about whether or not I wanted to say here, after the reception I got.
We've got exactly what we want; everyone who plays Robot Arena 2, and has the interest and the know-how to build bots that can go to to toe with the veterans. Maybe that's what needs to be changed.
Ian, how many views do your videos have? I'd kill to get mine into a measure of thousands.

On the topic of Robotica, I didn't like the first series. The bots weren't all that interesting (apart from Jawbreaker, Kritical Mass, Panzer, and Juggernaut).
Run Amok was to Robotica what Richard Hatch was to Survivor, a contestant that knew the game extraordinarily well despite it being the first season. I thought it was nothing special at first, but its use of car-steering and its victory over Big B showed some real ingenuity. Hell, even the final played out just like Survivor, you've got humble little Run Amok, and the big mean Ram Force, who played too aggressively and no one likes it now. Meanwhile Run Amok's diplomacy means he's got an ally and bodyguard in Juggerbot, who's willing to die just to see Ram Force lose.
