Did you make that Warhead? I thought that was just the one in the pack?
He did say it was modified from the BBAU pack.

Don't give up.
You are supposed to edit the gmf file
where did you run into your latest problem?

opening the gmf file and seeing chinese words

not being able to open up components cfz
You're supposed to open it with a program called notepad++ ( http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ ), do a ctrl + f and enter ".bmp" or ".tga". Find / rename the bmp to something with the same amount of alphanumeric characters, and make a texture for the skin accordingly.

You should be able to decompile cfz files with this: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=95

Yeah, it's far too late to submit an entry now.

If you do end up sending a bot in a drunken stupor, I'm planning a fight with all the bots that were rejected from the tourney for being underweight/late... so it'll be in that.

Here's an old HS/Rammer I never posted.

DSA + HPZ drive. simple stuff.

Does things and such, beats fury pretty well. It did manage to beat Macro Mole (my older 18 claw HS with the plow and mace).

I'm probably going to forget this in 5 months, but when october rolls around I'll try making a tribute bot in the original DSL 1 (if I can find it).

Any plans on entering Battlebots 9 AS?  Don't worry about me, I've long gotten over that fight we had in the heavyweights last season.

Recieved mechadino's entry. Will look at it soon.

Signups are now closed, unless anyone has something to send RIGHT NOW. I will begin working on splashes.

You just tried to make it too compact. That's all.

If you made it stable by the time signups officially close, that would be acceptable.

Funny enough, it has no AGOD at all according to the collision mesh. It's just really bouncy because it has no supports at all.

Received Bob's update. Signups will be closing very soon.

Virus Bomb and 090901 accepted.

Signups officially "close" at midnight tonight, but I won't be a stickler about entries that are sent a few hours overdue.

RPJK, KOS_flow and Wolfsbane's entries are accepted. I've extended the signups one day for any last-minute entries.

(Wolfsbane, I'm not able to reply to your PMs because you still have me blocked from sending messages to you.)
Friendly reminder to HurricaneAndrew that he needs to get a valid entry to me by tomorrow.

You don't need ramplates. Just have a disc be large enough to go over the wheels.

So there's nothing preventing me (or MassimoV) from just changing that 0.5 value to 9 billion? (That's an exaggeration, but you know what I mean.)

If you want the hazards to do more damage, why not just jack up their metal value by a few increments?

Overkill wheels.
Get a load of this guy.

HW (assuming this is a heavyweight) horizontal spinners don't need anything more than 2 wheel drive NPC fast with techno wheels. You will likely need less than that if you want more weapons.

Just so you know, it is completely possible to make that chassis less than a tenth of how huge it is now. Just have a trapezoid, 3 ant batteries on top of each other, and a control board on the very top.

Then you will be able to have bottom protection. Go to extras and find the "halfsheet" component. If you select a certain attachment point (somewhere around the middle), you should be able to use it as near-invincible armor.

You can protect your top by using a multi extender slightly offset from the middle and two 40cm poly/aluminum/titanum (not steel, because thats generally overkill) sheets. The HS disc should do a good job protecting the top though if its large enough.
If you need an example, here's a bot I made a few weeks ago:

NPC fasts, PL5, 4 ants, shortest poly sheets at the back.
(mine has 4 ants, which is why the control board is off to the side like that. I also used the "left" and "right" versions of the npc motors so that they could stick out of the chassis like that. Keep in mind that the left and right npcs have different collision with the chassis, because QUALITY.)
