ACAMS should change "refbot" to "Evil Overlord"

Anyone got some good suggestions for a Halloween costume? Like, something that's cool, cheap, and able to be bought/made before Saturday?
Absent Minded Professor: Buy a rubber brain and a lab coat. Hold the rubber brain in your hand and say "help I've lost my mind have you seen it?"

Splash doesn't matter. It's about the bot. SKBT, you really don't want battle? It'd be nice to have more people in one challenge and I want everyone to have a fair chance.

I can battle if you want the challenge to be a battle.

DSL 2.1 IRL realistic LW?

Sure but I'd like to do it as a vote instead of a battle.

I've been trying to get Kitbots to sponsor me for a while but they won't.

I pay for my bots with money I earned working at RoboGladiators (back when it still existed) and by doing other odd jobs. I've worked in the kitchen at my school, I cut peoples lawns, fix people cars*/other motorized stuff and I've welded stuff for people too.

*change the oil, rotate tires ect

Do keep in mind, it was me and Thy that started this IRLevolution in the first place.

I was building like this before you were even a member here....

Your VS a couple of pages back might look better if you used a pair of large ripping teeth on one drum segment instead of the small teeth you have now.

I would hit character limit if I tried to explain everything happening in my life right now :P

Short story related to this website is, I have no interest in this game or robot combat in general anymore.. SNE was basically an attempt to cram the game into my interests again but as soon as that had technical problems its all been thrown in the "too hard basket".. or probably more accurately "cant be assed working this one out basket"

Now I have a backlog of projects, no interest and likely going to piss a lot of people off whilst dealing with the head-smashing confusion going on in the real world.

Fun never stops does it?

Joe I think it might be a good idea to take a break from GTM and get your life sorted out, because no offense but I think you need it.

Maybe you could convince ACAMS to bump NFX or someone up to Mod to take your spot if you do decide to take a break.

Good luck getting your life straitened out.

It doesn't look like your wedge scrapes the ground.

What motor were you planning to use for the ax? I've seen an EV warrior @24v with a 4:1 reduction work great. Then again it's the only effective ax I've seen.

Might as well show off some of my art. I can't draw worth anything but pottery is always fun...

Pierre Le Pot (its a teapot, the beret comes off and the nose functions as a spout)

I have no clue what this is but it started out as a penguin and then turned into a Turtle-Penguin-Cow thingy

and from the back...

Squish (yes it has feet)

No-one'd better start fighting while I'm gone.

FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

My Rock'em Sock'ems are way cooler than your Rock'em Sock'ems because my fighting robots are on a fighting robot.

It just kinda makes a whole joke of the sport. It's way more fun to have an actual robot you built yourself than an RC car with a piece of aluminum duct taped to it. Also what's more entertaining to watch? D12 or Trilobite?

No do not go the Aaron Joerger route.

Check out http://kitbots.com/ all of their kits placed at the Franklin last week.
