Ironforge TC Showcases / Re: Hero Of War's IronForge Showcase!

It's not a dragon without a flamethrower, it's just a wyvern. Also maybe make a tail out of 90 degree angles (beware of lurking <s>knights</s> agod though), and make it so the wings flap, with burst motors.

May want to export a hovercraft to ironforge for extra flying goodness. Or is there one in cheatbot2 IF ?

I made and showcased a dragon bot waayyy back then in DSL. It was pretty good, I think, though it didn't looked that great.

I think the images went away, though.

I have a stock bot in the works, but it's annoying to cover it with casters

Discussion / Re: Ironforge UHW Weight Limit: 800kg or 2500kg?

AW 70, BW 90, LW 125, MW 200, HW 400, SHW 600, UHW 800, GHW 1200. Or that's what I think. I don't think we should add more, just change definitions if needed.

yeah I think this is the most satisfactory resolution

UHW at 800 kg may be lame but it suits the name progression, if not the weight progression.

i'm just saying if ironforge is half stock (which is the word of 123) then

AW = 72,5 so 75 for simplicity
BW = 87,5 so 90 for simplicity <= we can get rid of this one or say AW is 50 and BW is 80 or something...
LW = 125
MW = 200
CW = 300 <= we can get rid of this one cuz it's not as necessary with weights being divided by two
HW = 400
SHW = 600
??? = 800
??? = 1200
UHW = 2500
GHW = 5000

But I believe 2500 and 5000 kg are a bit useless in ironforge, so I moved UHW at 800 and GHW at 1200, even if it doesn't keep the proportions.

UOW is a retard tier name. Ogreweight is a Playzooki tier name. Titanweight isn't bad, but it should really be higher than UHW.

what ideas I have for the new names :

Ironforge Heavyweight (IHW)
Ironforge Superheavyweight (ISHW)

or

Megaheavyweight (MHW)
Kiloheavyweight... no that's a silly one.

Overheavyweight (OHW) for 800 kg ?

Or simply call it 800 kg Ironforge and 1200 kg Ironforge. (800 IF or 1200 IF).

...just use bigger wheels and put the motors higher so your ground clearance doesn't become worse ? literally all a bot needs to be invertible is wheels that stick out of the top plate of your chassis. sometimes they don't even need to stick out ?

even in ironforge when it should be around 70 kg ?

naryar its a wammer so i dont think it needs to be invertible.

You will regret not being invertible once your bot is inverted and completely helpless on it's back.

but invertibility will mess up my wedge!

no, it won't. not if you do it right.

i suggest you should use only 2WD, bigger wheels and stronger motors.

CW isn't really necessary in ironforge seeing that the weights have been divided by two. But we can keep it.
