When the tournaments are done, we still do little matches for fun.

Smart of him to change it up from the security guard role, though I suspect the gameplay is the same as previous games.
I think the gameplay will be like elements from all of the previous games, like closing doors and spamming lights from the first one, being able to hide from the second one, and meaningless jumpscares from the third one. However, it *seems* like the player will be more mobile in some way for this one.

only villains i saw were those mit children who didnt handshake
and yes i know it was played for drama but still come on
I dunno about that.  Sure the late hit didn't cause any damage, but  it's really bad manners.  The same can be said for snubbing a handshake, so I'd say they're even.
I'd like to see Ray and Derek Young have a bad-guy-pissing-match.

Complete Controlololo vs Tomb "It's not if I win, it's when I win!" Stone

Note: I mean no disrespect to either of the bots or the teams of the bots. It's just they painted Derek as a gudfernuffin loopholer, and Ray as a 'ohoho who am I going to eat today' type of guy, and I think those sort of personalities clashing would be interesting.

Look, all of us want to see Tomb Stone vs Ice Wave.
It will be the clusterfux of the century.

It'll be like a stock match. Two machines dedicated to destruction ripping each other apart.

I'd much rather see a match like that instead of something that was designed to take a beating and still go like Stinger or Bite Force. It's why I like god of war- (nearly) immortal beings beating the ever loving snot out of one another is exhilarating.

I'll drop my few cents in.

Papers, Please is a game that people like. One of the reasons people like it is because it tells an entire story through the job of a passport checker.

Papers, Please is also god and probably shouldn't be compared to such a game but I'm doing it anyway.

FNAF does a very similar thing. You only know the story from the security guard's eyes and ears. If you're not paying any attention to it, then you won't get any of it.

I'm not sure exactly what you would be able to teach with RA2.

Maybe basics of engineering, like designing something and then tweaking it until it works well enough for the job?
The importance of pre-planning and design or problem solving with limited resources... something like that.

Okay, Overhaul is capable of self-righting. The late hit did prevent that. What difference would it make if they were back on their wheels after the match had ended? Would the late hit suddenly be less wrong because overhaul would be able to return the favor? I don't understand that logic.
It made it look like Overhaul couldn't self right and would have lost if the match lasted longer, which I feel like had a big boost for Lockjaw in the judges decision as Overhaul had pretty much controlled the fight up until that point.
While that is a fair point, something happening after a match should not affect their decision of the match.

AS and Mike having a discussion
Gotta say I'm on AS's side about this.

Okay, late hitting isn't right and it doesn't matter who you are. We've cemented that.

However, the MIT guys were reacting to it as if Tombstone had done a late hit and shredded apart half of their bot. But no, it was Lockjaw, and the most that lockjaw could've done in that late hit is a few scratches, maybe a dent or two, maybe a battery knocked loose. Those are all things that can be (relatively- do remember icewave's team had to take apart and clean the entire internals of icewave) easily fixed or ignored.

Okay, Overhaul is capable of self-righting. The late hit did prevent that. What difference would it make if they were back on their wheels after the match had ended? Would the late hit suddenly be less wrong because overhaul would be able to return the favor? I don't understand that logic.
