On the contrary, I really really like this! I think it's one of the cleanest builds I've seen in quite a while, and if you just raise the chassis a bit to deal with PIerco's "things sticking out" complaint, I think I could really fall in love with this'n.

Oh, you think you're pretty clever, don't ya? Taking my MW rammer idea and adding another hammer on... I swear to god, there's gonna be a war on, missy... Naah, just kidding. Looks pretty good, although I worry about the armour of that chassis and the hitpoints of those exposed motors. How much have you sacrificed to get that extra hammer?

Literally who calls me Phil? You cut that out, boi.
Okay, Philly D. Anyway I like the two hammer rammers, and the double Beta burst is cool too, I should consider making one of them too, even though three Betas in a Middleweight is the real goal.
Enhh, I find that you give up too much with 3 beta's. At least with 2 betas you have some weight to spend on wedges and armour. Also, is the face spinner actually DSL-S? Those weapons look like they intersect a lot more than they should.
Well, I built these bots a few months ago, with the intention of them being DSL-S... Let's pop the trunk and have a look! ...Hm. Interesting. It appears what I've done is crossed the belts over one another, to give the impression that the axle is straight out in front rather than being on a belt. I'm guessing I did this to give the FS some oomph ('cuz the only motor with this sort of power that has the motor and axle in the same place is the E-Tek and Tornado Mer's, both of which are too big for this application), but looking at it, yeah, they are a bit close... Might rebuild this one too, then.

Not gonna let Philippa outdo me in the DSL-S field, sorry bubby Proficker II - 247.6 - Plastic 5 - It's your generic Slimbody rammer. Whaddaya know. CopperOuvert - 396.9 - Titanium 5 - Tite armour on top and plastic armour on top instead of Alu on both 'cuz it's more likely to just stay right-way-up. Might rebuild this to use a Battlepack instead of a black with a smaller chassis. T-Five - 398.6 - Steel 1 - Basically a Beta flipper without the stupidity that me and Phil were demo'ing before Threebeast V - 795.3 - Plastic 3 - Actually decent despite being a FS, good wedges too Mako 2: The Makover - 795.1 - Plastic 10 - Not anywhere as scary as it looks because the wedges are ass Greying Mantis - 799.7 - Alu 5 - Top panel doubles as a srimech and is a fantastic gutripper.

I love all the DSL-S coming out of here.
Aye, me too... Got me thinking I need to refine less and design more.

> putting ironforge in with replicas and not DSL-S 🤔
We had a talk about this in the Discord. After this month, Ironforge is getting it's own category.

Noice one, might have to experiment with that if I ever make a side hammer...

The legends... I thought those stories were just kid's tales! Welcome back! Surprised the wheels work at all, considering how they're facing inwards and bend even more inwards when the bursts fire. Still, a very interesting design... Invertible, I assume?

Well, removing the ant, and maybe compressing the chassis some would give us 6, maybe 7KG to play around with. From there, you could remove 2 Iron Spikes and stick some Heavy DSL Teeth or Spike Strips on. However, the meta for DSL 2.2 is usually "Bigger, heavier weapons -> more weapons, most of the time", and with HS, it's pretty much the case. So, I'd say, scrap the whole setup, and get yourself a DSL Bar with some hammers on the end.

Not fully sold on still using razors, especially since spike strips are now the go to weapon for popups. But still it's a pretty decent improvement. That being said, I'd err on the side of caution for battery life and try to cram a bit more in there.
What, for another DOA clone? No way. 1 Black'll be enough to power that thing for 3 minutes with no worries. Same for Glacier, actually, although maybe swap for two Battlepacks if the longer VDMA drains battery more than expected. Melting Point definitely doesn't need that extra ant. Delete it and spend the weight on a beefier weapon setup. Taco Cat's a funky design, but I'm worried, again, about you having too many batteries. Plus, them wedges don't look like they'd be awfully wedgy.

Just wanna say that the way batteries work now in 2.2 is totally different from 2.1 so you might wanna rework what you are currently running, ant batteries are pretty ass now.
cool so if someone could just send me a Google doc with all the meta changes in the last five years that'd be great
-Batteries behave like actual batteries, how long a battery's gonna last is detailed in it's description. -Razors aren't OP any more, pretty much every weapon's balanced now (Except pre-made discs such as the Mechavore Disc which are ridiculously OP) -Wheels are balanced now, sorta? Again, the details are in the item's description. Like weapons, you generally pick which one is best suited for the job. That first bot's pretty okay, just change the ant batteries for a WP836E (black battery), to save 4 KG's and properly power your bot, and trade that old-school BSG for a new-school VDMA, for much more oomph in your attack. Then all you need to do is shave 0.3KG's from somewhere to keep it in the weight limit, which you could easily do by swapping the tite extenders for alu.

These are pretty neat for DSL-S my man. Really dig the axe made of axes
How to make a big axe? Combine several, smaller axes.

"Standard, in MY DSL?" It's more likley than you think.
I dunno, DSL-S seems to have been making a small resurgence as of late, which I am -all for-.
