im pretty sure the speed controller just sucks because i used it on my other robot for a while and it did the same thing then i switched to bane bots and i haven't had a problem sense it just frustrates me when you pay 60$ for something that doesn't work right

oh and its a little over 2 oz's heavy its a fat tank

Szalor is done! except for some driving issues witch im going to fix later oh and its a little over weight thats another thing i need to fix but other then that its done

well in a perfect word the motor should be spinning at 14,060 on a 7.4v battery and with a little less then a 1.5:1 ratio it should be pulling around 9400 rpm-ish with a 5 1/2" blade not bad i guess

ya im not sure how well it would hold up in combat but i was thinking of the belt driven hor spinner and that this might give it a lower profile

ok heres that peace i was talking about it weights 13 ounces has .375 (3/8') shafts with .125 (1/8") keyways, its 2.75" wide (3.885" from shaft to shaft) and 3.025" long plate to back (3.605" from the shaft to the back) and 1.25" thick

(pulleys) but close enough ;) theres not much i can do about it, i've made the groves on the pulleys as deep as i can so hopefuly i won't have this problem plus i have like 6 spare belts, after all there just ebay o-rings

hmm you know what i may have something that you may be able to use i'll see about getting a pic and some specs of it up for you, it converts a rotational input to a 90 degree angle its compact and solied but not sure if its strong enought to handel that kind of stress

i would go with 1b-1c ish for the sake of it would be easyer to machine and i like concept 2 looks like a good solied hor spinner just needs to be invertible no point to losing a match because you just got fliped or something ;)

well most of its made out of 1/4" poly and the top and bottem plates are carbon fiber and ya its just a one pounder, just looks big in the picture

and i really like the idea of everyone getting togeather and fighting robots
